Can’t help. My boozapp app doesn’t have that price. And despite my mediocre efforts, I still haven’t found or been invited to a secondary forum.
Message me, I can get you into a secondary forum.

Quarter cask tastes like drinking a campfire in the best way possible
I prefer the quarter cask. I think it was only an extra 20 bucks. I thought the flavor profile was more complex. The finish is amazing. You have to enjoy feeling of drinking a campfire. I know it sounds bad, but it isn't. Its awesome!
The more campfire-y, the better! Will give it a go and let you know what I think.

How does the Quarter Cask compare to the 10, would you say? Is there a standout winner?

Quarter Cask >>>> 10 to me.

As far as Laphroaigs go, the higher the ABV the better for me. I lean towards the 10 Cask Strength and the Cairdeas releases. And the independent bottlers.

To you though, the regular 10 is only 40% which is a shame (US release is 43%, still too low imo).

Agreed. 10yo Cask Strength looks to be about 58.6%? Imagine that makes all the difference.

The 10 Cask Strength is an yearly release and every year it has a different ABV, but all up there. It does make a huge difference. The difference is so glaring that I wonder if they use the best barrels for that release. Apparently, it is way harder to get a hold of one of those bottles there than it is here... Go figure! LOL! Maybe it's because Laphroaig is owned by (Jim) Beam Suntory? LOL!!

Yeah, it's a great bottle! I believe the current batch there is 14, maybe some stores still have the 13 or 12. The latest batch I had was the 12 and it was great. Didn't have 13 or 14 yet but they are consistently great, with minor differences between the batches.

Price is usually around 70 quid there. Definitely NOT 150, lol!

Yeah, I was thinking that £150 seemed way off!

Let us know what you think of them

I’d probably rank them:
1) Eht BP or Smoke wagon R&L
2) 4R LE SMBS
3) JD Coy Hill .. a bit disappointing given the secondary price tag, @Irish’s JD BP sib was better imo

Got smoked:
EHT Warehouse C ... didnt realize it was BiB and with all the hype around it, fell waaay short imho

EHT BP is good, but I don't get the hype. Maybe the one I had is not such a great year, but Blanton's SFTB tastes better to me.

I wouldnt pay anywhere near secondary for the bottle i tried, but i’d still go slightly above msrp just to have it in the collection.
Havent seen that blanton’s yet

So I just stopped into one of the stores. They had gotten a barrel pick of Eagle Rare, Blanton’s, Buffalo Trace and Sazrac. The first two sold out in about four hours with a limit of two per customer.

I was also told that Pappy and BTAC production was cut by some crazy percentage so super hard to get this year.

It’s the Euro version. It’s on the secondary market for 240ish or sometimes you can get it online direct from Europe.

I got EHT barrel proof for $240. I’d happily pay that every day. But it took 1/3 of the bottle for it to get really good.
Same here. It’s been collecting dust on the shelf since the initial pour. I’ll have to give it another try.

Yes!! I love these! Nice choice. Let’s hear some tasting notes
The nose reminds me of a nice vanilla bean creme brûlée that was just freshly torched in front of you. I get a little oak and rye spice as well. This tastes just like a waffle cone that was cooked for about 10 seconds too long and then filled with a nice french vanilla custard and covered in burnt caramel. The sweetness is balanced out perfectly with the burnt and overcooked components. I get a nice amount of oak and rye spice on the finish and it’s very long!

I’ll add that very few bottles give me such recognizable, specific flavors and smells that this bottle is giving me. I’m immediately regretting not buying 2 or 3 bottles of this. This is a fantastic pour!

Edit…if I tasted this blind, there would be no chance in hell that you’d convince me that this was a 4 year old bourbon.
