Having some batch 17 right now. It seems older and more “sophisticsted” than the last few batches. Maybe it’s just me… or maybe some of the juice intended for GTS made it’s way into batch 17.
I’m going to run batches 14-17 blind after Christmas. We shall see then if it is that different.
I’ve never really sat and tasted JW since I got a lot more into scotch. How do the mini compare? There is a box set of 4x200ml that I’ve been trying to find.

All of them were good to great, and all very Johnnie Walker. We preferred the 18yr, then Gold Label, then Blue Label.

2 parts 12yr to 3 parts Antique 107. That’s what I sent you. Try it first before doing your mix.
Yeah, that's what I'm going with. That allows 300mL of 12 with 450mL 107 to fill the bottle. I will be able to do it twice, but that will only leave me with about 3 pours of 12 to try on its it's own. I'm ok with that!

Personally, I think if you're going to do it, do it once. Then have plenty of W12 to enjoy on its own. It definitely deserves to be tasted as Weller intended it.
