It’s the Runestone Rye that really intrigued me. Cask strength store picks always come home with me!

I actually saw my first ever bottles of Weller Special Reserve AND Antique 107 today. The store that I grabbed the Runestone at was raffling off 3 bottles of each along with 3 bottles of Eagle Rare. Spend $50+ in the store to get your name in the drawing. Very cool!

I tried the port and it was not my jam. I wanted to like it but wasn’t doing it for me
I liked the Port. I think it was better than my 2020 Cask Strength Angels Envy (also finished in port). I am working my way through the chardonnay finished, and it is not my jam. I will try the cab sauv one next

Bourbon hunt done for the evening. Acquired a Russell Reserve store pick as well, and left behind a few others that need to wait for another time. Most interesting thing is I was offered a Boss Hog 8 not once but twice. Told them I liked rye, but not THAT much.

Maybe I had the chard. It’s not like me to not like a port finish. I know I don’t usually like cab or chard finishes

If it starts with an “M”, I believe it’s MGP rye but if it’s a “V”, it’s Canadian.
