Starting the last day of 2021 with a pour from the infinity bottle I started this year. This one is so good as is that I’m seriously considering starting a new one for 2022 and letting this one hibernate for a while.

Been sick for 3 days, not sure if it's the shanghai shivers or not but it's time for fRYEday. Bottle of Rittenhouse doesn't have much left so I'll finish it off tonight.

Opened EC BP B521. Going to get drunk while comparing it to a119 and a121. And I've decided to trade/sell these as a new year resolution. I've decided that Nevada frac singles are a black hole reserved only for deep pockets. So I will drink to abandoning Nevada chips for a second time. I'll use the funds to buy bourbon of course, but also lots of singles for a set project that is coming along nicely. It also freed up more space in my display cases so that I have more room for personal fracs that I buy or that people send me. I was running out of room. So I was dragging my feet, but I had at least three good reasons for letting NV frac chips go. Farewell my friends...

I honestly like this better than the ucuf. I had 5 bottles of each and I’m down to 1 back up of the straight whisky, but have 2 backups of ucuf left.
I did a blind comparison of their UCUF and Small Batch once and the Small Batch to me was the clear winner. UCUF is good, but at $75 a pop, it’s not a must buy anymore now that I’ve already had it. I’m sure it’s possible that a different batch of UCUF might suit my palate better as well.

I think I agree with you liking the Straight Bourbon better also. I typically don’t drink whiskey under 100 proof because they just feel thin and taste muted to me. This bottle surprised the hell out of me with how full and rich it’s flavor was.

I actually didn’t like the small batch. I’m still on my first bottle. But I really like the straight whisky. Ucuf is good though
