If you love Knob Creek, then you should like/love it. Booker’s are hit and miss. None are bad. Some are excellent. The price should be around ECBP or a bit higher maybe.
This bottle is absolutely amazing! I was so worried I’d be disappointed due to the expectations for this bottle being so high. This is the first bottle I’ve ever purchased that cost me over $100 after tax.

I get peanut brittle, oak and a nice baking spice on the nose. A touch of citrus pokes thru after it rests for a little. On the palate, the sweet peanut brittle really comes on strong with a nice oak char. The baking spice is also there, but I’m getting some rich vanilla and brown sugar notes. The oak plays very well with the spice and sweetness. This is by far the most balanced, complex pour I’ve had to date. The finish is really long and oaky with the sweetness and spice fading back to the oak. Again…I LOVE this bottle!

I've got a couple Booker's I'm opening this summer, one of them being the well-regarded "Donohoe's Batch". We'll have to share some samples.

I’m going to join you by popping my 01-2022 Ronnie’s Batch.

We should swap samples

I just checked. My unopened Booker's are 2020-03, and 2021-01. I have 19 other bottles I'm opening and tasting for the first time this summer as well. I'll keep everybody posted, and trading samples will be a noteworthy goal at the end.

ODB, I mean OGD 114 three ways. I'm recovering from The Rona and I have perhaps 80-90% of my normal taste/smell.

Neat: aroma is okay, it smells young and cheap - taste is decent and not harsh at all for a young 114 proofer - finish is short bordering on nonexistent
Rocks: aroma, the cold is keeping the volatile components in the liquid phase and there is very little bouquet - taste is smoother than neat, and quite good - finish seems to be longer, but still minimal
Whiskey Sour: Excellent! 2.5 parts mix to 1 part OGD 114. I could drink 20 of these on a hot day.

need to try it in an old fashion with muddled cherries

I already miss this bottle. I’m not the biggest fan of Eagle Rare. It’s good I guess. Not as complex as I prefer. But, DAMN, this store pick was excellent. I need to have my favorite store search in back for more, but they released it last fall. :confused

Was at a family member's birthday party that had a 'bar'. They had a handle of vodka and a handle of bacardi rub and a flask of Canadian Club... At someone point in the evening the contents of a manhattan came up and when they figured out it was 'whisky, vermouth, and bitters' and I corrected them with 'rye' someone asked me 'what's the difference?' c'est la vie.

I really like eagle rare, it is tougher to find around here. I could go swimming in WSR if I wanted.
Funny how Ohio gets truckloads of the SR, and Indiana gets just a few drops here and there (probably from Ohio I imagine), yet we are just one state away. Alcohol is weird.
