Found this gem on vacation in rural Idaho. I haven’t opened mine at home, but I opened this one. It’s a good summer pour.
That’s a good price on nikka from the barrel. But I hate it. Lol

BTW, on the bottom there, that green spot finished in wine barrels can be relatively challenging to find so if it has a decent price and you like irish it's a solid pick up.

It’s just not very good. Astringent and lots of ethanol on the nose and palate. Unlike most other Japanese whiskys
