I love MM(see my avatar), but wheaters seem to taste funky in lineups with non-wheaters. I usually drink Makers alone or with other Makers.

I’m not a big fan of Canadian whisky, and it’s been a while since I’ve had Crown Royal. But it’s probably great for MSRP. I paid a bit more.

It’s not as sweet as I remember from Crown. 80 proof always feels weak to me. But it’s good. A little drying on the finish. I mostly just wanted it for the cool bottle. Hahahahaha

Found a bottle of Rare Breed locally, and I had to grab it. Very nice!

I picked up a few bottles in Nantasket, Rhode Island. The owner was a Chinese guy and offered me some samples of his barrel picks. This Copper & Cask is only 4 years old but I really like it. A nice smooth easy drinker for 114 proof. I also love most Wild Turkey products and this one is not sold in PA.

Mrs. Baroo took me out for my birthday dinner at my favorite steakhouse in Raleigh! Started the evening off with a smoked rosemary and orange old fashioned!
