THIS IS NOT A NEW RELEASE!!! It’s a bottle from the third gen batches of RB which were produced between 2005-2013

I’m sure it’ll be pricey lol

Edit to add: I found the exact same picture on the internet from a liquor store in the Netherlands for 400 euros

This is the chaos that is currently my whiskey bar. Inspired by @Saoliver, I'm publicly shaming myself in the hope that I will get off my keister soon and fix this problem.

Pulled the left side out, and getting ready to move the cabinets and build the bookshelves

For the next BBNAGB, can we do Old Forester? Bourbon or Rye. Or both.

I'd buy a few cases. :cool
OF requires purchase on the entire barrel and a store to work through. they will not sale straight to the consumer.

If we can pull off NAGB for “Star” chips, I’m confident getting a private barrel of O.F. will be easy by comparison.
tricking GPI into making chips for you by pretending to be a casino, is I don't think illegal
tricking a distillery into selling a barrel to you directly by pretending to be a retailer, I think violates federal law.

unless someone has a liquor license we don't know about lol.

I have a bottle with a failed cork (my fault). I need a new cork for it so naturally I was going through open bottles to find one I can finish up. Bring it upstairs and tell my wife “need to finish this up so I can resuse the cork”.

She looks at me, shakes her head, and says “that’s the lamest reason you’ve ever come up with to start drinking bourbon this early in the evening”

Pretty sure sticking bourbon in a Fedex or UPS package violates federal law similarly. Not that any of us would do that!

Don’t you finish bottles with two pours

I had a bottle of Aberlour 18 that had a cork break. Nothing fit the neck of the bottle. So I emailed Aberlour asking if they could send me a replacement cork. They did.

Unfortunately, it was lodged in the neck of a brand new bottle of Aberlour 18.

Terrible customer service—they left me in the same predicament I was in when I contacted them. ;-)
