Sister got me that Ol Smoky, but Peach flavored. Enjoyed it, was sweet but not in a gross way. Very refreshing with ice.Great score at Total Wines & Spirits!View attachment 1091148

I have the 4 bottles on the right, and, naturally, will be starting with the rye tonight.Happy Bottled In Bond Day everyone!
I've got an pre-lockdown EHT SiB that I've been holding onto as they've been very tough to find. I think I got it for $70. Good luck finding the small batch for $70, let alone the single barrel.I have the 4 bottles on the right, and, naturally, will be starting with the rye tonight.
Seeing as I don't have an EHT Rye, I'll start my first Fryeday of 2023 with this...View attachment 1091873

The weight's not gonna put itself back on!You trying to catch up on 2 months all in one day?
This is the way.So, I went into one of my local Brooklyn shops that prices fairly, to pick up a hard-to-find bottle of that 9 year old Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye, for @Pinkdan.
I casually asked the shopkeeper if he had anything interesting.
He replied, "I got a couple Stagg Batch 18's this week, and put one aside for you."
Grateful, I offered to open the Stagg and pour tastes for all three of the folks working at the shop. The shopkeeper was so appreciative of the gesture that he asked me if I wanted the second Stagg, too.
Yes. Yes, I did. And yes, I did.
Those KC Cask Ryes are incredible! That is a bottle from batch 1 which is supposed to be even better than the batch 2 that I have…and batch 2 is the easily one of the 2-3 best ryes I’ve ever had.
