I think we did good!

Holy shit! My co worker just came in and told me he went to the local Costco yesterday at lunch and they were putting out blantons and weller 107..... $47.99 and $38.99 Limit 1 of each of course. I told him WTF why didn't you call me! I'll be taking a early lunch today to see if there is any left. I highly doubt it tho

Welp as just as I thought, all gone. Went right when they opened and saw a guy restocking the willet and asked how long did the blantons and weller last.... He said they had 12 bottles of each and they were gone within the hour. He said todays shipment was whistle pig 10 year, they had a couple cases on the cart to be put on the shelf

That's the first time I've ever even heard that our Costco had weller or blantons. I've seen pictures from other Costco's with it but never anywhere close to me

A good private barrel bottle is worth $120ish, if you like Four Roses.

I was thinking $160 is way too much for a bottle of private select but 4 course with 4 pours and a gift bottle sounds like a good time. If the restaurant is known to have good food, I think it’d be fun for a nice date. And then you could save the bottle for another occasion with said date. It’d make it special.

I would do it and I don’t even like four roses that much

Well, my wife (aka "The Queen", or as she hates to be called, "Frau Guzzleschmidt", drinks her share, so the $230 for two sounds like a much better deal.

And yes, the food is excellent, though these events are held in a huge, sterile hall with a thirty-foot ceiling...

If the food is really good, then this seems like a no-brainer to me. A fun night out, good whiskey, and a nice private selection bottle to take home for $230 ain't bad at all. In my area, dinners like this run about $100 a head without the bottle to take home.

Bottle pickup has been set for 10/6.
From there you will be getting a message from either myself, indyscammer, or bluegrass poker for shipping information.

The bottle that was chosen came out at 115.9 proof. That's up there for New riff.
Thank you! I'm so excited to get it and try it out!
