I love it. I paid $200 for it. If you see an extra, I can PP you and get it in June. (I’d snap buy at that price)New release of Blackened rye the lightning coming out. I really liked the first batch, hopefully this one follows suit.

On a related note, I spied a Blackened Willett today for ~$160, which I think is fairly close to MSRP. Anyone try that? Maybe @krafticus ? Worth the price tag?
Thanks Mark, I didn't need much of an arm twist on this one, but good to hear it's worth the coin. It's been sitting there at $250+ for a couple of years, this is more my price range. I'll see if they have any more.I love it. I paid $200 for it. If you see an extra, I can PP you and get it in June. (I’d snap buy at that price)

Whatcha trying to get?? One per person?
Weller single barrel is another good choice. That’s the only Weller bottle I can’t seem to find anywhere2 per person, I think CYPB and still deciding on the other one.
the picture was sent to me so I haven't had a chance to see the full availability yet
Still a good spread. What did you end up with?Well the first picture was sent to me was from the store about 2 hours away not my local, here is the pictures I took.

I paid $92 cash in Houston. This store gives 3% off when you pay cash, so I guess that makes retail $95.What's retail price on Old Overholt 10yr CS? Unavailable here but found a source on the interwebs.
I think it drinks very hot and spicy. The typical sweetness I get from LBPs is a bit muted as well. Every Larceny BPs improved dramatically for me after a pour or two’s worth of breathing room. This one still hasn’t done that yet even after 4 pours down. It’s still good but not even close to anything from 2023 in my opinion, but it’s definitely worth the price at retail. I just won’t pursue a backup unless it makes a huge improvement. I’ve seen a few reviews mirroring my thoughts and I’ve seen a few that were the exact opposite, so who the hell knowsWifey asked me to take her to Costco today. She's not driving yet after having knee surgery last week. Popped into the store next door (no liquor inside of Costcos in Texas) where they get some nice drops on Wed or Thursday of most weeks. They had one bottle left of this!
So what's the typical opinion on A124? I know all the 2023s got great reviews, so does this one measure up, or fall short of the '23s? I'll probably do a side by side eventually with my B523 bottle.

Do you find the single barrel to be noticeably better than the standard cask strength? Been thinking about picking up one or the other. Price difference here is $72/$62.
Not sure, my Dad had given me the single barrel a while back (he had bought it down in Florida), I didn't realize it was a total wine single barrel until recently. I did grab a standard one too when stocking up last month to compare it, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Hopefully the samples don't suck, but give me your honest opinion
