Game 6…Rangers at Carolina. Another win or go home game for the Canes, or in this instance, win or stay home. Pregame pour from same lineup we had for game 5…not that I’m superstitious or anything :rolleyes:

I know it’s easier for a lot of you to find but until today I’d never seen a bottle for under $130+tax in the ~2 years I’ve been doing this Bourbon thing.

Stopped by my favorite shop today and there she was…sitting alone on a random low shelf shoved between a bunch of non special bottles (their version of ‘allocating’).

Price check?
$74.99+tax.
You don’t have two, do you? (I say kiddingly)
We do. I’ll grab it for you.
So out the door with TWO for $149.98+tax!!

I know it’s not a special bottle to a lot of you, but I want a horsey collection someday so getting toward it for an absurd price (around here at least) makes today a great day!!!!

People liked it before. Then after John Wick people loved it. Then it became too popular so people started hating on it. The whisky hasn’t changed but peoples opinions do. Same with chips. Lol


Personally I still like it, but I haven’t seen a bottle on the shelf in years. I don’t even bother going to stores anymore

My 12 year old just binge watched the John Wick’s for the first time a few weeks ago. Is it wrong that he noticed the bottle and said “That’s the horse bottle you’re always looking for, isn’t it?” Or is it right? Hmmm. :)

It probably WAS wrong though that my only response was “Why? Do you think he’ll sell it to me for a fair price?” !!!

Not a terrible price. Blantons is a solid bottle, but $75 is my upper limit. Packaging is top notch too.

Like I said, getting below $130+tax here has not existed in 2yrs! (at least where I know!).

Seeing $75 as an upper limit of the terms laid out…I’d ask if you were vaping hippopotamus dung soaked in dandelion juices while the sparkle fairies granted you good passage to say yes because no one else actually votes anymore before I said it couldn’t happen!

I’m a lifelong Penguins fan…born and raised in Pittsburgh…BUT…I love the fact I can still see live NHL action where I live. I’ll pull for the Canes as long as they’re not playing my Pens. That was hard to watch. If I didn’t have to work tomorrow, that bottle would be toast lol

I'm flying to Vegas tomorrow night. This is the allocated drop the state decided to do Saturday morning. $50-78 is the price range. Trying to make new friends that will get there early enough to get a BP, SiB, and Rye. Do I cancel Vegas and just eat the flight cost?

Here's to hoping a friend comes through with a BP, SiB, or Rye. I did not expect the EHT drop. I knew more Blanton's was coming, but if I had known EHT I woulda planned Vegas a different weekend. I love EHT.

I've never camped out and I can't think of a single bottle I have that I'd camp out for, tbh. (And I admit I have one or two unicorns....) :cool

I've never owned a RHF, and RHF is delicious, but not that delicious. But if you'd enjoy the adventure, go for it.

I'd camp for WLW.
Maybe Pappy at retail, but not because I'd drink it. I'd leverage it into a bunch of other bottles, either trade or sell and buy. Camping for 1 bottle less appealing, but if it's actually for several bottles...maybe.
