Still here. Futbol got lucky that the 2022 world cup final was one of the best matches ever with one of the GOATs still at his peak. FIFA got lucky that their corruption to give Q the world cup kinda worked out. Q's willingness to spend infinity money helped.
Nah, this World Cup was brilliant because of the quality of the football and big upsets. Nothing more — nothing less.

Holy Shit. We agree on something!!!
Not a soccer fan normally - the last time I watched a game was 4 years ago, but I ended up watching 6 games this World Cup and every single one of them was genuinely exciting to watch. Maybe I just got lucky with game selection, but it opened my eyes a bit. I dare say, that final yesterday was better than any single NHL hockey game I've seen in recent memory, despite the lull after Argentina went up 2-0.
