Any reason the $1s are THC and the $5s are RHC? What other casinos do this?
Horseshoe Baltimore is one...

Those Baltimore live chips look nice, I admit. I'm starting to think secondary designs are just haphazardly thrown together most of the time since they are not expected to see the light of day.

It does add a layer of security to prevent a counterfeiter from taking a rack of $1s, painting them red and then relabeling them.

That said, in the Boat chips order, the all THC order came back with proofs showing RHC. So either Paulson doesn't know the difference, or they prefer to put out the RHC in the high denoms as they wear faster.

Most important is that staff/cage can easily distinguish the primary & secondary chips

Are Mississippi casinos allowed to sell their chips by law, or do they have to destroy them? I only remember seeing Katrina-released Mississippi chips.

I am relatively new to poker (I mean poker where I know more than just the value of the different hands) so I am reading more on the subject... anyways I just realized that my strategy of being here in this forum is highly exploitable

Please oh please get a set of these with the secondary $100's. We can play a .25/.50 limit game and buy in for 2k just to get them on the table!!
Hoping for an all-secondary tournament set, but buying limits may prevent a 2-table spread.

...then there's that money thing, that may also make a 2-table set unachievable.

I would say it is more likely because RHC take a larger inlay and the $5 chips tend to be the ones that casinos issue special releases on because they want people taking them home. Grand Opening, Anniversary, Happy New Year, Chinese New Year etc.
