Actually I think it's an ancient Egyptian hieorglyph depicting an alien taking a dump, captured by a 1950's impressionist artist.

But it's so small and unintrusive at arm's length that it doesn't bother me, and the nine-image radial presentation most closely mimics the classic Paulson style.

One of the drawbacks of the RHC design (besides no outer ring, oversized recess, and hats too close to edge) is that the hat/cane images are too big. Sometimes smaller is better....

This is a tough question! Yes, I agree that chips with a ring are 100 times better than RHC. But, they are made for a large label and, accordingly, cool graphics. This is the answer to ceramic chips. And with a good design, they look fantastic. For example, PNY.

Mold is probably not that important.

But, casino designers still stick a white background, the name of the casino and the denomination there. Well, or so ...

It's hard not to notice all this ugliness. And at the same time, even old Majestic Stars look good!
