Paymaster - Official Chip Pr0n thread (3 Viewers)

I like the look of the 2.5" -- still captures the spirit of actual wall signage without being overbearing (and possibly overshadowing other table design elements), not to mention being more comfortable than a 3" riser.

Super-stoked that you are reconsidering..... epic table ftw. Let's go racing!

Go look at some of the WSOP final tables over the years. Those tables have some serious depth to them and the walls

I like the original table design without the raised rail.

John gave me a couple of options for the faux racetrack racetrack. Thoughts?

You could put lanes in the racetrack, and maybe even pit stalls over the betting line lol. Here's a bird's eye view of Martinsville Speedway...

I like the top option. The bottom one seems to resemble marble a little too much.

I like both asphalt racetrack options, with a slight preference for the top one. The bright Paymaster colors are gonna really shine on either one. (y)

I'd do #1 as well because of the "plainer" background will allow the chips to pop! We are playing with these in April correct?! : )
Yes sir, these are coming out on Thursday night. Unfortunately with the revisions to the table I doubt I will have it in time.

So, to me it's complicated... It does look cool with the yellow lines, but I can't get over the fact thatI haven't seen too many race tracks with a dividing line. I'm not sure what that means, I'm also the guy that notices when people call funny cars dragsters and Indy cars F1s soooo I don't know how much that makes a difference to you. :D

The lines should be dotted, otherwise it'll be illegal for the chips to pass. :whistling:

I agree that I do like the look with the lines, but any time I see solid lines like that I always think betting line. Maybe having 2 rows of lines (3 lanes) with broken lines similar to the photo of the Martinsville posted above would break it up a bit.

I like the broken asphalt as that reminds me of an old racetrack way more then the smoother asphalt.

I'd say skip the yellow lines though. If anything make some smeared paint or tire marks on some of the upright banner ads to simulate what they really looked like on the racetracks after cars brushed up against them ;)

I like the bottom one in post 104, but the one in 111 is sweet also. Not sure if the yellow line will effect the players..

No lines, unless they're badly "faded". Also, tire marks in the corners - preferably with 2 that indicate an unintentional attempt to "push the wall back".

Not yellow....those are on highways and streets...not racetracks. Maybe white dotted, maybe less is more(no line). Tire marks and such could be intersting especially in the turns
