Mr Tree
Straight Flush
Ok one different try.
Bert suggested doing the finish line without the dotted lines.
Also Paulo felt the finish line should be at 6 0'clock rather than 12.
Anyone have thoughts?
If anything make some smeared paint or tire marks on some of the upright banner ads to simulate what they really looked like on the racetracks after cars brushed up against them
Also, maybe on your wall you could have a few tire marks on some of the advertisements. Rubbing is racing after all...

I would say:
Definitely tire marks on the wall/ads, maybe even a few strategic placed streaks where a car would spin out of the turn or something. Either way, tire marks on the wall for sure.
Five months later but what do you think of this?I like 6 o'clock better than 12 o'clock. Also, maybe on your wall you could have a few tire marks on some of the advertisements. Rubbing is racing after all...

Yeah it's something with the PDF format I guess. It is showing both what we settled on and earlier versions we had overlaid. That's what I was referring to. The Plymouth-Chrysler dealership is also wonky.
That NHRA logo was correct for the era actually. I have pictures that show it used at the time.Love it! One minor comment is that the NHRA logo looks more modern than the other signs, perhaps a vintage version?
Great! I was trying to find the actual logo dates but my Google-fu failed me that night. That NHRA logo was correct for the era actually. I have pictures that show it used at the time.
I never found anything that conclusively shows what was used when. I just know that NHRA logo is in some pictures I have. The NHRA launched in 1951 so the other one may be from the 50s.Great! I was trying to find the actual logo dates but my Google-fu failed me that night.
This is just one of many examples why the Paymasters are truly epic! Can you please post the toolbox again (dead links)?I never found anything that conclusively shows what was used when.
