Trying my first Don Carlos remarkably. Came over early to JRs before my daughter's volleyball game.

In the UK, and at my local bricks and mortar we get legit Cubans and full stock of everything. However I just spent £100 on 4 Cuban sticks, so as you can tell the prices are pretty of the scale.

Got myself 4 cubans : Hoyo Epicure 2, Partagas Serie D no 4, Ramon Allones Specially Selected and through in a Cohiba Siglo2 for good measure.

Anyway, the new world cigars over here are just as expensive, so I've been looking at shipping from the U.S. Theres a few stores I know where you can get NW cigars for 1/3 / 1/2 price as to what you pay for them over here, and sometimes they are kind with customs...

But then I remembered this thread...

Wondering if anyone would consider sending a few cigars back and forth over the pond?

My local has plenty of supply on pretty much the entire Cuban and NW market without exception, and you don't have to worry about fakes...
Wouldn't mind picking up some and sending them to U.S if anyones interested, assuming you can send me a load of NW in return ;D

Bit of a long shot however as I bet most of you still have access to Cubans over the pond regardless.

I imagine there’s a number of us who would be willing to reship NCs (“non-Cubans” as we call them) to you. My guess is that it’s probably not particularly more economical to have you send CCs here compared to using any of the international retailers that import them here but I don’t know that for a fact.

I’m traveling a ton the next couple of months so I’m not a good plug right now.

Aight I’m doing the same thing if folks want in. There’s 10 different 5-packs I’m interested in that come out to $676 total. I want to keep 2 of each for myself so if 3 or 8 people (I could do second 5-pack of each) want in I’m glad to offer blind samplers.

I think the gents from last time enjoyed em?

First dibs to:
@joeyshin @RowlettTexasChipGuy @chippitydoodah

$676/5 = $135. I’ll take $5 off each and ship for free in holiday spirit and because this is fun (and economical) for me. Otherwise relatively at cost. Looking back at it I have absolutely no idea how what I did with the math last time. $88 x 5 is nowhere near $683 and those sticks are worth a bunch more than $88 lmao….hmmm….

Here’s the sampler from last time. This is just stuff I want so will be similar.

Anyone got any good deals lurking around?

My humidor is sadly empty and I need to fix that ASAP!
You want in? Would be just 1 more person and I’ll pull the trigger next week

I feel you. In Norway we have tobacco tax on top of it.

The Padron cost $39 and Epicure cost $49(!). I'm saving them as it's currently -1C and bone chilling winds here.
Those prices are totally crazy man. The Epicure 2’s are around £27 here.

My girlfriend wants a city break in Europe in February. And I’m looking forward to it additionally so I can pick up some cheap cigars…

She suggested Oslo and I agreed.

Now you show me this   Noooooo!!!

Well I guess there is more to life than cheap cigars ;)

I’m tempted to try some of these online stores from the U.S. …Can be a bit of a dice roll, but worst case scenario is you still play less.

Aquitaine, I think this was the last of my pulls from the pass. Very rich and robust, good stuff

Glad you enjoyed! Another one of my initial puts that made it through a bunch of people to you. I've been surprised how relatively short RoMa's time in the sun was. I definitely think their branding is kind of weak but the sticks are great.

I’m thinking of buying some cigars off thecigarpage, but they only deliver to US, so I would need a re-shipper…

Would anyone be willing to help me out and re-ship to the UK? I would let you keep some sticks / pay you extra for the hastle of posting them to the UK?

Let me know, thank you

Our currency is quite weak compared to EUR and USD so it's cheaper in that sense but your best hope would be to pick up some cigars in the taxfree when you're leaving. The selection has been horrible since covid though, there's only been a few Davidoffs and cigarillos there. Also, you're only allowed to bring 100g of tobacco into Norway so that's a 5-pack at most, just so you're aware.

If you want to visit B&M stores, there's only two in Oslo and their websites is in Norwegian only. They're both downtown so easy to visit. They're closed Sundays and usually close around 15 on Saturdays.
