Quality is not what it used to be. $700+ boxes. I ain't got that kind of money. Owner told me a story of someone from South Africa buying 119 boxes and taking them back. Flippers in all hobbies!

You expected quality out of a government run establishment? Nicaragua is where it's at baby! Funny story: A friend of mine went to Romania for her father's funeral. After consoling her I naturally capitalized on having her be my Cuban cigar mule. She knows nothing about cigars but I located a cigar shop near her Mother's house in Brasov and sent her links to the shop owners inventory of Cuban cigars. (Try learning Romanian on the fly one time I dare you!) The shop owner nicely tried to talk her out of buying the Partagas #2's I sent her for, recommending that Cuban cigar quality is sub par and she could buy better made cigars at a lower cost from other countries like Nicaragua and Dominican Republic! Once she explained it was for a friend in the US he understood. Ahhh, the forbidden fruit. :)

PS - Those Partagas are amazing

PSD4 still my fav of all time, even if it is not the greatest. Forbidden fruit definitely gives it more points in my book.

Which one pisses you off the most?

For me it's tunneling. Cigar burns hot inside as you try to chase the wrapper & binder with your lighter to catch up but never seem to get there.

Tunneling is definitely the toughest. I find most problems can be easily fixed with a wet finger to the wrapper or a tiny touch of flame. Took me a long time to learn not to mess with a cigar too much. A lot of things can fix themselves.

I also have learned to let a cigar go early if it’s not smoking well. A badly burning cigar isn’t worth it to me and I’ll gladly toss a stick and grab another if the stick is too plugged (I have never been adept with a perfedraw)

I might have to get one of these. Curious to see how you like it. I currently have 4 of these in my humidor. One on each shelf. Lol!

I used exactly these for years, then “upgraded” to Boveda Butler, which really aren’t great. I’ve been using Sensor Push for a while now and I 10/10 recommend. It’s the most expensive option but definitely the best

I'm happy with it so far. Bluetooth setup was easy. I love just being able to look at my phone to see the humidity. Hovering at 65% in the tupperdor with 2 big 69% Boveda packs and one small one.

Tunneling for sure. I just had two tunnel back to back. I forgot to write that down. I think the first one was a factory smokes maduro from drew estate. The wrapper sort of blew up into the second half too, so that one was a bit of a hot mess. I'm hoping the next one isn't the same. And then I just had an Oliva Cain Daytona. Really good smoke. It was lighter than I expected. Very consistent flavor through most of it. But a small tunnel around the half way mark. Didn't ruin it, but just seeing it is annoying.

I'll go with canoeing too. One thing that drives me nuts is when I have a bad cut. It can ruin the whole freaking cigar.
