We've 2 pets :

A cat, Princesse, that my GF found in a cardboard at the garbage dump. She was not even 6 months old a very skinny. Now she's 11 and in a very good shape.

A dog, Arya, that a friend of us found in the street (in a cold and rainy night day of November) next to her home. She picked her and brought her at home. She was only 6 weeks old. She asked to each and every house in her village, she asked to the veterinary he anyone lost his dog, she also asked to animal shelter, ... no success. She knew that we were looking for a dog, and as she did not want to give her to people she does not know, she asked us if we wanted to adopt her and we did it (else, she'd have kept her but since she already have some pets, she asked us knowing we planned to have a dog). She's now 2 years old, in very good shape.

At the beginning, the cohab was not so easy betwneen Princesse & Arya but now, it's all good. They are not the best friends in the world (in fact Arya would like but Princesse is more distant with Arya - only in the morning, when they wake up, they both stay together).

Funny thing, Arya learnt to hunt moles in the garden by observing how Princesse does. Now Arya is catching moles (if we can't stop her on time). Also, a cat goes everywhere and Arya was observing Princesse jumping and she tried to reproduce the jump she has access.

My wife won't be home until around 7. She's picking up the granddaughter for a sleepover. I'm excited that I get to walk the dogs by myself. Now I can listen to a little "light" death metal music on the walk!
