He got to play with his girlfriend all weekend. I think he slept for 15 straight hours.

I'll regretfully turn this beautiful thread "dark" for a moment... I'm sure this group will help spread some "light" on this... please read further...

On my Union forum a fellow pilot posted a request to assist in, what I believe is, to be frank... a "no brainer"! This link is referencing his wife, who THEN was going through a divorce... the story speaks for it's self... I'm respectfully requesting your support.

Thank you!

wish there was a "support" rather than a "like" button for things like this. it's sickening how willing we are to lock people up for completely victimless crimes for years and years while we allow sick fucks like this guy walk the street.

animal cruelty exists on many levels, but exhibiting it so wantonly deserves jail time and even if this is this guy takes a felony plea, he'll get no additional time (if he served any at all on his initial arrest).

I have a pilot friend who was going through a divorce back in 93'... his "soon to be ex wife" took his (their) two beautiful German Shepherds and had them euthanized while he was on a trip.
I'm not a Heaven/ Hell kind of guy (any more) but for that, and this, story... I truly wish for Hell to exist...

Petition signed and linked to my Facebook page as well.

I've never understood the lack of empathy some people have for anything else living.

This is Mickey; one of my two cats. He was kicked out of his former owner's house, when her boyfriend moved in with his dogs. This guy is friendly with strangers and loves all people. Even at 13 years old, he's very active for a cat. He'll jump up on my table in the middle of a game and cozy up to the players. I've designated him as the tournament director.

This way he can bark at any person/animal (including birds) that enter our yard, or come withing a specific vicinity of our yard.

detroit, our cat does a similar bridge between the bed and the bedside table. can't see how it's possible comfortable, but he is a sleeping professional, so i trust his judgment.

Usually we have 2+ dogs but for the last year we've only had JJ, our 180 lb Newfoundland. In 5 weeks he'll be getting a brother, Oliver the golden retriever. That little nugget has no clue what he's in for, luckily puppy bones bend easy. ;)

Nice kitty. Some people throwing out pets like they are a light bulb. I shake my head in awe at the lack of ability to take in and be responsible for a living creature. It becomes an inconvenience so its pushed away. Great of you to take him in.

Two-year-old Tyler, enjoying the view from her multi-level tree house (she likes to eat the leaves to pass the time).

Best we can tell, she's part Lab/Pit Bull (based on mom's look/demeanor), maybe part Dachshund (dad), and part Tasmanian Devil. Even at under 30 lbs, she gives Luke (our 75-lb pit mix) all he can handle and then some. One solid muscle, and she has NO fear.

Yeah, I built my dog a tree house.... because she couldn't reach the leaves after she and Luke stripped most of the lower branches (he can still leap and reach the upper branches at seven feet). Then came the add-on, after she cleared out all the branches she could reach at the first level. Already have plans for another expansion....

This thread makes me want a dog again so much. The Saudis control what dog breeds are here to a certain extent. I want a dog, not a mouse. There are a few people who breed some worthy dogs but they want a ransom of 3000 bucks. Screw that, I got chips to buy. I'll get my Chesapeake Bay Retriever when I leave this sand pit.

Bubbs: "C'mon Bill! Deal me something other than 83off for once, will u?! Oh, and why do you guys always bust out the MIlanos when I'm at the table? Not fair! This is MY house and I deserve to play with Paulsons also!!" :)

My wife and I succumbed to our daughter (well, we all did) and got her yesterday. We were suprised because all year she went on and on about getting a french poodle.

Wondering why Bubb's name isn't on the sign up list. No wonder he looks pissed. That plus only being allowed to drink water (and from a bottle, too).

Just met our new puppy Oliver over the weekend (and his 9 siblings). Holy cute overload. Only 6 weeks old so 2 more and he's home. Goooooood Booooooooy! His brother JJ (180 lb Newfoundland) is very excited.

Edit: The last image reminds me of broke degens sleeping at 5am in Foxwoods at a random sitting area, but nobody is getting a hug.

Mickey developed a corneal ulcer out of nowhere a few days ago. I took him to the vet, not knowing exactly how serious it was. His eye was close to rupturing. Here he is after surgery.

The vet said he violently resisted the cone for his head! He has not scratched at his eye, and he appears to be healing well. A follow-up visit is scheduled for Tuesday. I tell him he looks like a Borg feline.

He has a virus which caused this. I'll have to determine what medicine he'll get to avoid a repeat of this condition.

So glad to hear he's going okay. Always crazy scary when you have to take an animal in with no idea what's going on. Hope he has an awesome recovery :)
