I'm looking to add a Shufflemaster deckmate to my poker table. For those have one..do you have an opinion on where to install it as related to the dealers tray. Been to many poker rooms and have seen them on both left and rights sides of the tray, the middle and even angled one way or another.

I'm kind of leaning towards just ahead of the dealer tray to the right with the lid opening towards the chip drop slide. Discuss

I put my shuffletech between the dealer and the seat to the right of the dealer:

This might not help, but I know some people install it in a side table and have it next to the dedicated dealer.

I've seen that kind of setup and would probably use that if I was buying a shuffle tech shuffler. However, in this case Im getting the real deal Shufflemaster and would like to actually have it in the table

Ive heard so many mixed reviews, so great some not so great on the shuffletechs...how is it working out for you? Im getting a good deal on the shufflemaster but not sure how great of shape its in. Hoping to not have to send if off somewhere for new rollers or other reconditioning.

Its awesome IMHO. Used on average twice a month for almost 10 years, still running fine. It jams occasionally and is a bit on the noisy side (sounds like a popcorn maker lol), but I love it.

In front of the dealer tray? Isn’t that where you’d play the community cards? I do t have one, I’ve toyed with the idea of getting one. Being right handed I like the idea of it being on the dealers right side between the dealer and seat 10.

Every poker room I can remember has had it mounted on the dealers left.

yeah I've seen them in all spots in front of the dealer chip tray..I think off to the front right is the spot unless someone convinces me other wise. Seem to be out fo the way of the chip pot, community cards, and dealers stub and if it ever gets jammed, can do a manual shuffle easy enough. I know they teach actual poker dealers to never cross their hands over chip tray's in casino for security reasons. However since this is my home table..I have to the choice to put it whatever i want.

Seems only better on the right if you are left-handed.

Don’t know why it’s turning my pictures sideways!! Arrrgh

The one I bought was much less than that and its worked out great so far. That being said I'm not sure how many cycles its been through, how long the rollers will last ect..

If you looking for one on eBay or other website, I would assume it's been refurbished, updated, new rollers and if purchased for that price have at least a short warranty. If you do have a problem down the road, have the ability to send it back and get it serviced.

Anyone have the cutout size for the deckmate on hand? I helped a buddy install his but he is out of town and I need the measurements.
