Post a picture of your most recent purchase....(not poker chips) (12 Viewers)

They already use the trays... So they just pull the trays out of their tackle box and put them into the backpack...

That backpack is pretty sweet tho... They are using a three-day backpack from LA Police Gear. Roomy, but only opens at the top.

Gonna have to check out Costco for the one you picked up. Then again, Ace works at Dick's Sporting Goods... I'll bet they sell them there, and he gets a discount...
I got one from Dicks a few years back, not as nice as the one above but same company. I'm sure they carry something similar.

The pandemic caused us to cancel our live poker games and left a void in my weekends. I helped fill some of that by picking up fishing again and quickly remembered how much I enjoyed it. That's what lead to the new fishing related purchases. I meant to start back up in 2017 but between moving and just being busy with other stuff I never really went.

I'll miss my XJ, but I've had my eye on an LJ for a while and got a nice price on this one!

Thanks!

Now begins the long hard task of convincing the misses that converting one of the bedrooms into a poker den is definitely a wise investment :D

Unless bedrooms are big enough to hold three tables and at a minimum, a hot dog roller, I'm gonna agree with the wife here... If there is no basement, you should consider transforming the family room and/or dining room.

That's the picture we'll want to see the most, along with the collection ;)

I just bought a set... are you saying I can buy like, MORE?!

All rooms that are used for “quality time with the girls” (read: drinking wine and gossiping about me and the boys) are no-poker-zones.

Any violation of said no-poker-zones is punishable by celibacy  :ROFLMAO:

Thanks!

My misses wondered why I was so happy to buy a duplex with a studio apartment. Once I got it set up and ran one game, she was very happy.

Getting really tired of opening the freezer and having a 5lb. roast fall on my foot.... so

I'm thinking of getting a small chest freezer too. Mostly to lay in a years’ supply of these:

I love my chest freezer, but don't put ice cream products in there. Your normal freezer tries to hover around 0 degrees. My chest freezer hovers around -20. When I put ice cream in there is was so hard we couldn't eat it. Use the chest freezer for meat and microwave stuff. Save the normal freezer for ice cream

So true. We have a deep freezer in the garage and any ice cream that comes out of there is hard as a rock. Useful if you eat ice cream sandwiches outside in this heat but if you need to scoop the ice cream out it takes a considerable amount of effort.

At a Scout camp a couple years ago, they had ice cream in a deep freezer for a post-campfire dessert. No one remembered to take the ice cream out before the campfire skits to let it thaw. Now you've got a line of impatient, hungry Scouts and ice cream that's hard as a rock. The solution? Sawzall.

That's actually kind of awesome

@Lil Tuna you’ve got the line on the Habana’s . Nice!

Don’t smoke a lot anymore. My go to in the states use to be Hoyo de Monterey’s. When I was in Europe a few years ago and I could walk into a smoke shop and buy Cuban sticks I was smoking 2-3 a day! - Enjoy those
Love the Hoyo’s. I’ve got a few different places I order from overseas. 2-3 smokes a day would probably put me in the poor house. :ROFLMAO: I’m about a once/twice a week smoker.
I’ve been looking for those #54s for awhile, getting difficult to find.

Five days of instruction with a professional goalie and former National Champion...

Kids from all over the Eastern US are here, and even one from as far away as Wyoming.

(Camp rules prohibit posting any aspect of the camp on Social Media...so no one rat me out.)

Now the old man has to go to work while Deuce gets to stay and play.
