Played my first round of golf for the year last week, so naturally I went online and spent way too much on new golf stuff that I don't really need.

Did find this sweet ball marker from Penfold, and picked up a dozen Penfold Hearts balls so I can feel as cool as Sean Connery on the course

Drunken Amazon purchase- got a flagpole.

Funny conversation with my wife, “a big heavy box just showed up from Amazon, did you buy a flagpole?”

Me….. “I don’t think so… oh wait, did a gadsen flag show up too?”

Wife,“…… yes, you aren’t putting that up. We aren’t trailer trash.”

Me, ”....yes I think I did buy a flagpole and a gadsen flag…..(sigh) that’s all I wanted to put up… can’t remember why, but that’s why I bought the flagpole. Made sense in that state of mind”

So you see the second purchase- ol’ glory

I lived in Montgomery my first year out of law school and bought season tickets to the Biscuits. At least then, the Biscuit mascot would come out between innings sometimes and shoot wrapped biscuits out of a t-shirt cannon into the crowd.
 
So I was looking for a pick up truck and decided on the RAM 1500 hemi limited, unfortunately i would have to wait another 6 months minimum to get a 2022 and it would not have any of the safety features due to chip shortage and the chips could not be installed afterwards. Fortunately it was end of month and the Dealership owner was there and I purchased his 4 month old 2021 with under 5k miles fully loaded, customized bed coating, custom exhaust (dam it purrs), leather bed cover (probably replace with retrax pro). As i was walking away from the deal cause i said i wanted a spanking new one and Ford has one (trying to get better deal), he threw the 8 yr bumper to bumper warranty if i buy the tire insurance. SOLD

My mum's hand is currently in a splint with due to de quervain's and will most likely need a few months at least to recover. told her that i bought it for myself and that she could borrow it until she gets better. :cool

anyone have any experience with these? online reviews spoke highly of it.

Sigh, my right hand pinky has been curling and locking in place constantly, so I’m afraid I’m going down the same road sometime.
