If you’re asking for input: I like the top row with a different $25. This is the problem with using 3 color spots and trying to progress. Maybe a 3V12 with 3 different 1/2 colors and a constant 1/8 color? Or 3TA316?

Chips I like:
A/B/C, all, A/B, C/D (but wouldn’t use them).

Yeah I'm probably feeling row 2 of 4 the most here, seems the most natural... Was really wanting to find a good way to work in the 3916 on a 5.. but I just can't manage the progression above and below it properly I don't think. Love me some big chunky spots. Mocking up brown 5s for a tropical take the other day and this guy just got stuck in my head

Ultimately however, I think I'd regret using a chocolate 5 on a tropic set when arc and peach are sitting right there

Is there a personal meaning behind the inlay? I only ask because you went from Tropico to Tropica in the two designs. I’m personally not a fan of Palm Tree inlays since it’s overdone.

Yeah… options galore. If you like chunk, you can split the 3A916 to 3D14…

If you go 2, you could make the frac a solid and slide the other spots one to the right. But no chunky spot there….

Personal meaning, yeah, I love the tropics n tropic stuff, lol it's a chip set, not a tattoo. I'm a fan of palms because they look stellar and the mirage was my first poker room, palms are with me forever. Tropico is the newer, I just had the other laying around when I was making the browns the other day

Frac from Row 4
$1 from row 2
$5 from row 1
$25 from row 3 (or 6D18 with those spot colors)

I wouldn't try to achieve "spot progression" at all costs... each chip needs to look good on its own, and should somewhat match overall style with the other denoms. No hard rules...

This is the way?

4 group inlay (4 Point / 4 Notch / Clover) on a 3/6 group spot pattern like 3D14, 3DS318, 3916, 6A14 looks off imo. Same thing the other way round.
Perhaps try the Tri-Moon shape, or Scallop/Cog/Hub which are compatible to pretty much every spot pattern.
But the chips are flashy enough without shaped inlays already I'd say.

You boys are deep, I was just thinking it looked "shipwrecked" and went with the theme, but gotcha.

Btw, I've abandoned this set but it may be up you alley lol

Early stages of CPC hotstamp set. Multi-table tourney.

No timeframe right now. When I get more serious I'll have the actual hotstamp design worked up by J5.

Was messing around in Inkscape and came up with these designs for a potential ceramic chip. Not sure what do for the edges but thought these were fleshed out enough to get other people opinions on them. The color orange, B's and Birds are all references to the grad school I am attending right now and thought it would be fun to make set for the monthly poker game we have going. Definitely would take some ideas on how to make Tuesday Poker be more readable.

Less is more, even with ceramics IMO. There’s a lot going on here.
Some easy things to fix, the dollar symbol is ginormous compared to the denom. And the ¢ is too small.

What is the B for? An initial?

B stands for section B. and everyone at the poker night was in section B. Is there a good rule of thumb $ an cent sizes?
