Playing around with a simple hotstamp idea:

I wanted to get away from yellow for the 2000 so that there’s less of a chance it’ll be confused for a 1K.

These would, in fact, be on elephant mold, and would employ cpc’s stock number hotstamps. Certainly these would be nothing fancy, but that’s my intent.

I'd be concerned with dirty stacks with the 25 and 100's.

I have several color blind players so I like use different edge spots to help them out.

It's always a good idea, even if you aren't concerned with color blindness, to look at all designs (this would include poker chips and their edges pots) in greyscale to see how difficult it is to make out (color) values.

This might be mid-to-late-2020 project.

A cycling themed tournament set is something I've wanted to do for some time now - with chip colours and inlays commemorating famous jerseys from the different grand tours (tour de france, giro d'italia, etc) as well as the colours of my cycling club.

Inlay will come still with help of someone who knows something about design (just emailed @Johnny5 actually!), but my hope to to base it on the look and feel of classic or more stylised cycling posters/advertising.

Have played around with the chip design tool from CPC a bit and have come up with the following edge spot designs and colours:

Each chip mimics a famous jersey:

1. Bounty Chip: The Climbers Jersey from the Tour de France

2. T5: The Leaders Jersey from the Vuelta Espana (Tour of Spain)

3. T25: The Best Sprinter Jersey from Tour de France

4. T100: Colours of our club jersey (Rapha Cycling Club or RCC)

5. T500: Leaders Jersey from the Giro d'Italia (tour of Italy)

6. T1000: Leaders Jersey Tour de France
