My group has never had more than $200 on the table. Still, I got two barrels of 20s, and a barrel of hundreds. You know, just in case I get better friends.
I think our last $1/$2 game had over $6K on the table...

I don’t ever see that happening, but I can envision a loose .25/.50 game at some point. My total bank is $3755, but I sincerely doubt my barrel of hundos will ever see the felt.

......Yes I aligned all the labels to the edge spots on every chip minus the first couple I posted.
I was too excited to getting them on to see them without concern for alignment.

Not sure if it would tilt me to align each label to the same edge spots (side paint), or if it would tilt me to not align each label to the same edges pots (side paint)! :cautious:

They look good just goofing around. Next step after the labels is reworking the table.

Labels came today! Thanks @ABC Gifts and Awards they look great!

These are a Christmas gift for a family member (initials AK). Really excited to be able to give him these on time!

I would be so stoked to receive these. Good on you for looking out for your loved ones - I'm assuming you'll also be present when these hit the felt ;)

Thanks! He currently doesn’t have any chips as he hosts infrequently. I think he’ll really appreciate them. I would sure hope I’d get to be there! :D

Forgot about this thread. Posted these in the home game pics, and somebody told me to post them here.

These were a gift to my kid for Christmas.
We looked at tons of chips just so I could get ideas, and without tipping him off to him getting a set for Christmas. Out of almost all of the chips that we seen, customs, local casinos, whatever...his favorite design was the Majestics. Black, simple, denim is visible, and not too much going on. He said, “the label gets it done, but it lets the colors of the chip do the work”... he’s 14...and too wise.

So it was loosely based off of the Majestics. The line across it is actually a barbell. He’s huge into CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting.
His initials are on the cards, KFJ, and the suits on the cards are in the shape that the 5 of hearts would be, which is his favorite card, and has some family sentiment.
Also, the ‘Jackson’s’ first is is actually the number 5. That’s his baseball number, and the male of the family’s baseball, football, etc number passed from my grandfather, down and down, and now my kid wears 5.

Fantastic. Something he will treasure for a long time!

Last minute entry for dad of the year 2018. Hope Jackson loved them!

Just wanted to share my finished product with everyone.

I wanted to personally thank Gene @ABC Gifts and Awards for providing us with this amazing deal and all of his hard work over the past few months. I’d also like to thank @Mtvernonbryan for his 8V give away. Between the two I spent a little over $100 on over 1,000 chips and about that on paper, ink and God knows how many hours in front of a computer getting this done. My wife officially thinks I deserve time in an institution and those kids are wondering who that weird guy is kissing Mommy.

In all seriousness thank you to everyone for their input especially @Beakertwang and @SeanGecko A meet up game in Des Moines will be a reality once this damn shutdown is over.

Looks great! Must be a satisfying feeling getting the project over the goal line.

I am finalizing my inlay design and chip color choices.

Has anyone made a tournament set? Which colors did you choose and how do you like them? I have a bunch of each color and trying to nail down my color choices for my tourney set.

Thinking of these:
25 Green
100 Black
500 Purple
1000 White
5000 Pink
25000 Blue
Buy-in Grey
Bounty Brown

purple - 25
grey - 100
pink - 500
brown - 1000
black - 5000

Yes its less than traditional, but I wanted to incorporate colors that I haven't used in other sets. This progression was semi endorsed by @BGinGA so I went with it.

I did make a tourney set, I’ll post them up when I’m off work. But I ordered the colors that I wanted for the cash game set, the , ordered all of the other colors for the tourney set.
The micro stakes cash set was the ‘priority’ for him, so the tourney colors and specs were secondary. I went with a little smaller inlay, so slightly more of the color of the chip is showing. I don’t love them, but they will work for a 14 year olds set who doesn’t know any better.

I am thinking of something similar. Currently leaning towards:

25 - Green
100 - Black
500 - Pink
1000 - Blue
5000 - Brown
25000 - White

I was thrown a little for a loop because I ended up liking the browns in person way more than in pictures and I liked the gray less in person than in pictures. Still tweaking trying to balance quantities and colors I like best.

I totally agree with the brown one. Plus since my Amway match is that the best I think I have to incorporate that much better.

The rest of my Labels are on the way. Thinking of doing a tournament set with pink as T25 Blue as T100 Red as T500, Brown as T1000 .
Use this set up for the labels no currency sign and a NCV somewhere on it.

@zo121179 I'm going to want one of your Black $10 someday!

So just sent these over to @ABC Gifts and Awards. Very excited. Going to make a big tournament set with the hopes of getting a multi-table tournament together. Excited to see them on the chips! (But not looking forward to applying 2600 labels!)
