The only reason I advocate for 12 stars (or whatever) over 10 is that 12 is evenly divisible by 2, 3, 4, and 6 which are popular edge spot groupings since everyone likes to emulate clay.
Just airing a thought to consider @SeanGecko @MrRossKeys . We could.. do a initial voting round to refine to final 4, and then mockup the last 4 with different edge-spots/colors. Could use that time too to refine things like number of stars, sizing, etc

@Cratty, could you try the jester hats with outlines, but with eat of the 3 sections of the hat separated, maybe the band, too?

We got plenty of time until 2025.
Reminder - 20,000 qty in orders and you can get a new mold anytime.

I'm thinking that six-points (or eight-points, see post #230) will eliminate the wonky visual alignment issue with a five-point star.

Still strongly prefer outline vs full deboss to retain ceramic mass and maximize chip-to-chip surface area contact, regardless of design -- best for both increased weight and anti-slickness properties.

Using that logic, nobody should ever select 3-, 5-, or 6-spot designs for RHC, THC, IHC, scrown, or jockey mold chips (along with a bunch of other 8-image molds). In truth, it really doesn't matter.

Nope, it truly doesn't matter. But a 12 pattern does allow for a bit of radial symmetry, that's all. Not between chips, but within the chip.

I wouldn't mind seeing the jester mold with the outline.

It does not make a difference to me but I know many would request to see if the nipple could somehow be removed. 10 Stars is my current fave.

"Poker Chip Forum ♤" going along the edge like Paulson Vegas house molds.
