Beautiful! Not a bad chip in the bunch. In fact, one of the best cash lineups out there IMHO. Very nice work.

Pretty chips, but not many out there (at least not in chipper hands). Once sold at the Paulson store(s), so somebody must have a bunch of 'em someplace. I've never seen a $100 for sale, ever.

Good old leaded Paulsons. The inlaid chips are about 10.8g
I have leaded inlaid paulsons and leaded hotstamped paulsons, but I never put any of them on the scale. I just assumed inlaid chips weighed more.

Chips with inlays have base material pushed out during pressing to make room for the inlay. Clay weighs more than paper/vinyl/plastic, so hot-stamped chips weigh more (when comparing like base colors).

Different colors also weigh different amounts, especially with older leaded chips.

I was digging back on the blue wall and it sounds like the Paulson store only sold racks of $500s that never got sent to the cruise line? The cash chips then got put in play on some day cruise line out of FL, but who knows where they ended up after that. My seller had found these in Vegas somewhere.
