Seeking feedback on Card Mold Cash and Tourney sets (2 Viewers)

Very nice! The side scroll is a bit busy with 4, Id look at 3 to see if I liked it. Otherwise love the theme and text.

Point taken and I agree.

Here's another go. I want to stay at 4 so I can alternate orientation. Rolling edge text a little smaller and fewer donkey heads this time cuts down some on the clutter:

Tweaked the face slightly too to increase the size of "UnderGround" some

And @eightyWon UNDERGROUND color code the $1 is black and the $20 is either Blurple, Silver, White, Light Green, Chocolate, Orange. They are also 43mm or a plaque.

I don't make the rules (except the one I just made up)

I like it! I will suggest a different edge spot for the $20 or more colors!

I would love to receive some of the MCUG gear.

I would be very happy to help with the design concepts.

FWIW, based on how the 81 is aligned, it looks more like 18. I think it’s because there’s more white space between the 8 and 1 than the 1 and 8.

Great font- I used it in a (never made) set. The numbers in that font look good, btw—it was the first set I designed where the numbers and the name were the same font.

I see what you mean about the 81. It might be a little much, too. I think I'll eexperiment with the denom spelled out instead, too, and see what that looks like.

Definitely going to mess with the denom font. The rest of the inlay has (to me) and old schoolish feel and the denom font feels maybe too modern or something?

Still plenty of things I don't like about it or want to adjust but I think it's moving in the right direction?

Not sure I'll even have these made, but it's good practice!

Also, I think i realized that subconsciously I've been ripping off some ideas from Kifer's wonderful chipdust.
 
I’ve come to appreciate the subtle background texture- whether 81s, the Boudoir’s straight lines, or something in the background art itself. Not sure what it is.

You got to make at least these two chips. That's what, 300/400 chips total?
Love the $1 for you.
 
Totally love the top row with the denom in gray. Like an extra security layer, but still adds some texture.
 
The 0 in the twenty, you offset that, yes?
