A bar tournament that doesn't use dice chips. That is a win right there.Usually forget to take pics of the bar poker tournaments I run because my phone is running the timers, but managed to grab one last night.View attachment 856258
I've made some upgrades...haha. I do it twice a week and drunk people asking how much each chip was worth got old real quick. Should have ordered more of those cards on the group buy, didn't realize how fast I'd wear them down.A bar tournament that doesn't use dice chips. That is a win right there.
And don't forget you had an opportunity to watch massive table drama when Seat 1 called clock on the player to my immediate left in Seat 5 for taking too long to act on a simple $6 button straddle, then Seat 3 went nuclear with each passing second, threw his cards and the button at the dealer and left. And they were sober! That turned into a rather intense, yet ridiculous, situation! On a straddle!
Clearly, you're rusty.Back on the grind after the winter storm shut the city down for a few days. This place was hopping and the PLO games didn't look good so I ended up playing holdem for the first time since November. View attachment 859332
Oh damn! @chipinla should get in this game. He left the drama of Hollywood, but could still find it back home in KC.And don't forget you had an opportunity to watch massive table drama when Seat 1 called clock on the player to my immediate left in Seat 5 for taking too long to act on a simple $6 button straddle, then Seat 3 went nuclear with each passing second, threw his cards and the button at the dealer and left. That said, glad you had a good time and stopped by KC on your way home. I'm sure I'm speaking for @Pawn38 as well on this - a true pleasure meeting you. Safe travels and we'll see you again in July!
Yassss we have tons of dramaOh damn! @chipinla should get in this game. He left the drama of Hollywood, but could still find it back home in KC.
Very nice to meet you in person @TX_Golf_N_Poker. I enjoyed chatting with you. Looking forward to the KC Straddle in July.BIG Thank you to @Chawks45 and @Pawn38 for hosting me in KC at Hollywood casino. Had a blast and can't wait to come back for the Straddle in July!!!
As this was my first time at Hollywood, not sure how normal of night it was. In addition to the incident @Chawks45 reported, the guy next me turned from talkative & friendly to a low boil to a rolling boil and finally stormed off cursing in huff. A few other tables were filled with boisterous folks acting borderline obnoxious (though friendly), yelling, screaming, high fiving. The only thing going down faster than the drinks was probably their chip stacks.Seat 3 went nuclear with each passing second, threw his cards and the button at the dealer and left.
I should have come but that sounds like it would have turned into a roulette night for meVery nice to meet you in person @TX_Golf_N_Poker. I enjoyed chatting with you. Looking forward to the KC Straddle in July.

I really want to go back tonight.
For sure, that was wild. Didn't know if stuff like that might be common or not. Also I generally don't let much bother me, especially when I'm not involved or the target, so I had already forgotten about it. I was surprised by how long it took them to do anything about it. I assume if someone refuses to make a decision in a reasonable time, their hand gets folded. He should have given her about 5 more seconds, (after it had already gone on for several minutes) then folded her. Wasn't really right that they basically let her get away with it.And don't forget you had an opportunity to watch massive table drama when Seat 1 called clock on the player to my immediate left in Seat 5 for taking too long to act on a simple $6 button straddle, then Seat 3 went nuclear with each passing second, threw his cards and the button at the dealer and left. I'm math challenged. First glance I thought they were in stacks of 60, and then I forgot to double the chip count. You guys joking around or just math challenged? Looks like stacks of 50, so well over $1300.
Dude nice score!View attachment 860165Nice $8/16 limit Holdem session at The Orleans. In for $300.
