Those are ... bizarre. If I'm not mistaken, they're ceramic, but printed with a design reminiscent of a Bud Jones chip outer ring, but with a picture of a coin-in-center insert AND a shaped inlay? I think the only thing left is to somehow work in an oversized inlay, or something.
Those are standard coin inlay chips. The same chips they've used for years. Bud Jones 100%

Are you sure about that? Would be such a weird thing to do. Looks like regular CiC chips to me..

Nope, not sure at all. Just going by how they looked in the photo (which I admit didn't make a lot of sense!)

There you go. That makes way more sense than the bizarre jumble of weirdness I thought I was seeing. :wtf:

(It's still goofy that they're mixed in with RHC Paulsons though)

PLO at the Borgata - shorter session today because of early dinner reservations. In for $600, out for $425 - good table but couldn’t get much going. I did get a few of their snappers I’ve been wanting:

I was at the Horseshoe in Council Bluffs, IA last weekend for the Rungood series. Was a good time. Cash games were pretty juicy all weekend.

In for $300, ran it up a little, sold another player a hondo while he waited for chips from the cage, and then ended up cashing out a few hours later at $917.

I folded for nearly 2 orbits. Finally get a playable hand, QQ on the button. MP opens for 10, raise to 55, he calls. Flop is T64, all the money goes in, he has TT. Our stacks matched exactly, coincidentally. Down $250 early.

Reload!

Very next hand: EP, raises to 12. 2 callers, I call with 44. Big blind calls. Flop is 4JJ. Guy bets $20, i smooth call. Turn 8, he checks, I bet 55, he calls. River Ace, he checks, I bet $100, he calls with an ace.

Don’t call it a comeback!

Crazy hand:

So…just had a limped pot. Flop is 367. UTG bets 20, UTG1 min raises, UTG2 bets all in for about $200, MP folds, HJ reraises all in. UTG folds, UTG1 folds. UTG2 shows 33, HJ 45.

UTG folded 77, UTG1 folded KK, and MP folded 66. I folded K7.

Top set folded to a multi-way all in on a straight board? Did they show?

And KK overlimped? Did they show?

What game is this beak. This is craziness

Yep. I have no reason not to believe them after playing here a few times. KK is the OMC-est OMC I’ve ever seen.

Catfish Bend Casino in Burlington, IA.

So the 77 guy left. I mentioned the hand. Consensus at the table is he’s always full of it, and there’s no way he had 77.
