$25s are for tips for the dealers / waitstaff / massage / chef etc. That particular game was a 200/500 NLH with a 500 BB ante and multiple straddles.
It’s so cool that the rest of us micro stake nits can live vicariously through you! Looking forward to upcoming shows of HSP to see how you amassed that tower of cranberries

Ahh. Ok. Limit poker, not my sweet spot…..
Yeah we sometimes play the circus games limit style. It’s a good way to learn the degen games with a lot of money floating around the table and nobody really getting stacked. The games are low stress so lots of banter and nobody gets fired up. Except the guy that forgot you can use all your cards in Scarney.

Snapper work in limits from 2.50/5 to even 10/20. After playing tonight I’d say 5/10 is a nice sweet spot.

Krish, I’m gonna need an update on this!
I ended up down $36k that session. Early on in the game, at the insistence of a whale, the host switched the game to half and half — every dealer change switched between NLHE and PLO. I’m not great with high variance games like PLO, where I should really be playing only in position, and with premium hands, and folding third and fourth nuts to aggressive betting.

Most of my winnings were lost when I kept calling with a King high flush on an unpaired board, and middle set. Lost to A-high flush, but he also had top set.

Make more meetups.

After a while, PLO will feel like a low variance game.
