What bar do you guys play at? I used to play the Wasatch Poker League back when I lived in SLC - a lotta fond memories.
I run games at Pins & Ales and the Pit Stop in Tooele. I don't believe Holly is running a league anymore, but I didn't really get involved with anything until about a year ago so not sure what happened with Wasatch.
Good to know about these. Hoping to make my way back to Utah next summer for my medical residency, will have to get out to your games.
At Central Coast Casino near Pismo Beach. I can get used to playing $1/$3 cash with 43mm chips.

The wife and kids had tickets to the Billie Eilish concert at the forum, so I offered to drive them and get a couple hours in at Hollywood Park.
The 2 and 3 dollar chips are drop chips, I asked for a couple because I like the 3s
I like the hundos better, but couldn’t amass many in the few hours I had.
Oh also the new Rams stadium is amazing.
Don’t know if there’s any Hollywood park players here, but the place is amazing compared to what it was, the whole neighborhood is completely changed after the rams moved in

Red colored chips are very striking in color. I have played in land based casinos in my country Uganda, I always buy in and exchange cash for cash five chips (5000shs denomination chips) they are red in color. Usually I bet on 3 or 4 numbers as a maximum, placing bets within the range of 15k shs to 75k shs. Guess what happens, Hmmm the ball is spun, it rotates and lands on number 28 or 29 my 2 favorites with a bunch of reds laid down there, I turn around and look at em winning bets and there red color strikes my eyes once again to signal me and to the casino management that i am a dangerous player. Imagine that thrill.
