I flew to California to pick up my 98 CDI set about 7 months ago. This is the first time I was able to get the crew together for a cash game. BOOYAH!

Think this counts since it’s my stack of chips in the photo, but…

Hit my first ever Royal in a live game (double board PLO bomb pot), and casually flopped quads on the other board as well. Scoooop!*

*Pot was only $75. The room wanted me to throw the rest of my stack in the pot to juice up the photo :D

I love that set. It has a very authentic casino feel to it. No to flashy, simple name, and catchy.

Heavy chips.

I saw a fellow cash out with 6 grand. He had to bend at the knees to pick up his racks.

Lost $240 yesterday playing PLO over 8 hours. Plenty of action and big pots.

Got into the groove today. Lost my first $800 buy-in. Bought back in for another $800 and cashed out with $3200. Grabbed lunch and hit the $2/$5 NLHE table, mandatory $10 straddle. Won $650 and decided to move to the mixed $2/$5 NLHE and PLO table where I finished out the evening.

Great group of guys. Best session of the trip in terms of enjoyment. Won $595.

A couple of pictures. The first one is from the $2/$5/$10 table and the last one is from the mixed game table. Heading for home in the morning.

Waiting to cash out at the cage after the PLO session.

Playing blackjack last saturday in Sofia (Bulgaria) in casino Palms Merkur Royale, the newest establishment in Bulgarian capital.
They have 15 tables (roulette, blackjack, russian poker....) plus a nice 10-tables poker room.
In for 340.00 leva, out for 459.00 (1 lev = 0.51 euro)
They use newish (matsui?) chips, very slippery. Chips are standard "american" colors, except the snapper (gray)
