Forgot to post one more photo. This was the peak of my stack but after a missed open ended straight draw on one hand and and another when my set on the flop ran into a flushed turn and no paired board to fill up I lost a bit before calling it a night. 2-5 at Bellagio was fun.

Playing 1/2 at Wind Creek in PA. $300 cap. in for $200, out for $1576.

highlight of the 3.5 hour session was flopping a set of kings OTB against aces in the CO and AKs in middle position. played a bunch of other interesting ones, but that was by far the most profitable.

GL on the felt!

Did they open the new poker room yet or is it still on the main floor?

It’s still on the main floor, that’s one reason I don’t go there often. Looks like they’re making progress but they had said it would be open by spring, it’s almost fall at this point!

Hoping they get to it soon and start up a Daily deep stack like they used to have at the sands back in the day!

Bummer. That's why I haven't been in a while also. I like the action there, but that room being adjacent to the baccarat area makes it really loud. Also I feel like there's tons of cigarette smoke in that end of the casino. Hopefully they open soon.

I hope! It was so refreshing when Sands turned that back area into a poker room after having it on the floor all those years. This new poker room they speak of better be nice after all this wait!

Got away from the home games and bar leagues to pop my Casino cherry yesterday on a drive through North Carolina. Into the 1/3 for $300 with 2 emergency Hundos that stayed in my pocket. Out for $320, plus a couple of harvested singles;), about 2 hours later. I survived!

I still haven't been to Cherokee. Been to Tunica about a half-dozen times and Vegas almost yearly since moving to Tennessee, but never made it out to Cherokee. Lack of affordable rooms is a big deterrent, but those chips certainly don't encourage me.

Congrats on your inaugural win!

If you do make it out there - word of warning - it was freezing cold. I was shivering and a guy on the next table had a sheepskin coat on. It was high 80s outside so I was in a polo shirt.

The $1 chips were much nicer!
