lol, I specifically asked for him. This casino has a "No black chips for 1-3" rule, even though this situation clearly called for it. Floor gonna floor.Jesus! Do Alberta know about color-ups?

Oh, Canada…Let me introduce you guys to Alberta poker.
Le jus d'accrocheuse.
Lesson learned. When I was playing for a living I had a set amount I wanted to win daily. I would factor in the buy in, gas, food and drink (if I ate) and I needed to get all of that plus whatever number I chose for the day. I never made it a crazy amount and when I got there I would walk 90% of the time. Even if I was dealt a hand , most times I wouldn't even look before I folded. I love playing, but if you treat it like a job when you are at a casino it helps. And to be honest it didn't really detract from the fun aspect too much.In for $300 at 1/3 and ran it up to about $850 @ Harrah’s Cherokee last night. Ended up punting every last bit of it because I got sleepy and didn’t know when to quit. I was absolutely sick over it on the drive home. I’m still new to casino games so this was the biggest stack I’ve ever had in front of me! View attachment 1166262
Appreciate the advice brother, it’s particularly relevant here as I’m wanting to go semi-pro soon and maybe even full-time pro one day. Definitely will take your advice and be setting a target cash out amount. Mindset is such a huge thing when attempting to profit at this game and I have a lot to work on in that regard. Playing tired is no better than playing drunk and I’ll not forget that lesson soon!!Lesson learned. When I was playing for a living I had a set amount I wanted to win daily. How long did you play? I find that I max out my enjoyment and attention span in a casino around 2 hours maximum. Perhaps consider setting a time limit to at least take a break and walk around. In for $300 at 1/3 and ran it up to about $850 @ Harrah’s Cherokee last night. Well I'm sure a lot of people will say I'm wrong and I take the fun out of the game. But I approached it like a business. Probably going to get back into it to help my karate school along in the summers. I can tell you one thing, when I followed this system of operations I cashed out ahead way more than I didn'tAppreciate the advice brother, it’s particularly relevant here as I’m wanting to go semi-pro soon and maybe even full-time pro one day. You may also want to reach out to @Anthony Martino if considering going pro. He made the choice, and it has been working out pretty well for him, so he may have extra tips for the full-time player.Appreciate the advice brother, it’s particularly relevant here as I’m wanting to go semi-pro soon and maybe even full-time pro one day. It was roughly a 3 hour session and I think I got up to 850 towards the end of the first hour. Crazy how you’ve hit it right on, because it was around the end of my 2nd hour when I started punting. Appreciate all the advice that’s been shared. You all are a wonderful community. @Poker Zombie @KarateMaster72 @Mrs Poker ZombieHow long did you play? @Josh Kifer wants you to know that he also has excellent back color, though his texture is by his own admission somewhat gummy.@Suited Connector .50/$1 last night. Always love the Jacks chips. That $5 and the $25 are amazing.
Got to play with the Statesman cards for the first time. Instantly my favorite cards of all time. Back color and texture is excellent. The texture acts like grip tape for your fingers. The art on the faces really stands out too with great looking suits.
Had a good night. In with $100, out with $360.
