Great day at the casino. Played the tournament which I don't usually do, sat down late and first hand flopped a set and tripled up. Card dead for awhile, then got all in 3 ways pre with AA and held. Maintained the biggest stack for the next few hours and then made a deal at 4 left for a $3k cash. Made another $300 in cash afterwards and a few hundred playing craps. Excited to lose it all to @CraigT78 in less than 2 weeks.

different 5$ in action?

We have a Live casino in the town next to mine in Pennsylvania. It's actually in a mall so it's kind of a mini casino? Poker room only has seven tables. I think their chips are ugly. And most definitely the dirtiest of ever played with even though the poker room only opened in 2022 I believe

Just scooped a monster. Picked up KK and raise to $35, get a caller and then a semi drunk aggo player makes it $275. I elect to take the higher variance route and call due to the dynamics this player and I have. The other player folds.

~$600 Flop comes a beautiful K94r. He leads for $500. I call.

$1600 Turn 4. He leads for $800. I call.

$3.2k River is a 3 and he jams for 2.5k. Snap call. End result.

....you're not kidding. That stack is intimidating, lol, sorry to necro the post but WOW.

A friend invited me to a local cardroom tonight. They had a tournament that had started about 2 hours earlier, and he said that the $1/3 cash game can be pretty soft as people bust out of the tournament. He was correct. There were a couple of big bettors that were not particularly great players. I picked up fairly quickly who not to mess with and who was playing maniac with crap cards.

In for $300, out for $980.

FYI, when I cashed out and left, my friend said the maniac was on tilt and called me OMC. I had to look that one up. Maybe he'll be there next time and I can use his profile of me against him...

I like how playing a narrow range is suppose to be derogatory.

How big is the cardroom? Looks like they're using chips from chip lab. Please tell me no

I like when players assume that of me. Then I can pull off some huge bluffs. And we all know the crazy guy and the super aggressive Guys are going to stack you sometimes. But in the long run you're going to profit from them.

Tight, selective aggression. By the way, I used to be the crazy guy

I don't think they were chip lab. The only ones from there that I've handled have a mold. These were plain. Honestly, I didn't pay much attention to them. Probably some cheap plastics from China...

Cardroom is small. I think 6 tables.

Does throwing some dice count?

Thanks again @Potsie1 for the On/Off button and dice! And @rjdev7 for the sweet topper

First time playing at Borgata since before Covid. It’s their 20th anniversary…can’t believe that! My buddies and I went there opening week and were so impressed we all played 95% of our cash poker there since. In for $300 at $1/3 out for $915!

Place isn’t quite as nice as it was 20 years ago but it’s still the nicest in AC.
