Oh yeah, you're right. I'm going to have to call shenanigans on that being a live stack.

Go a head on show off some of those sweet 50s, Mr. butler. :)

So long as you're winning enough to cover the rake, you're forgiven. ;)

Rake isn't horrible: 10% up to $5 plus $1 for the high hand. Same as Parx. If anyone armed merely with Hoyle's Rules of Poker and a semi-functioning brain doesn't kill this game they should quit poker. Although that does make it particularly brutal when you run bad versus the fish...

Yeah Dave is right of course that they're no RT Plastics. But they are live, though it is a little embarrassing to admit that I pay a rake to play in a game that uses these.

Makes sense now. I'd pay a rake and stare at those abominations for that kind of action.

I guess I was thrown off by the shuffletech. If you've got that kind of money to throw at speeding up the game, why not throw in some game security as well?

It's an off brand shuffler that was dead on arrival. Naturally the vendor fucked them and they didn't follow my advice to challenge the credit card payment after the vendor made clear that they weren't either refunding or replacing. Gross.

I'm currently in the process of convincing them to get a set of Game On chips. I'd link to the quasi-design thread for those if weren't typing this on my phone.

Nice haul, Jack! With the way you've been running, it's about time. (y)

Yeah truth is I'm stuck in that game $1k over the past week and a half so being in for $600 tonight plus the $1k previously stuck amount, my profit isn't quite as massive as it looks but still nice to get back in the (short term) black.

And yes, as I said above, you feel like a retard when you lose in this game. It's like watching an infant kick all his money into the pot unaware he even has cards and accidentally backdoor straights all night long.

Courage - read: it's like a typical 5/10 O8 session against Alzheimer's patients who haven't left the Foxwoods poker room since their last trip to Europe via dirigible.

He should be used to that by now since he's been to the circus. Pretty sure you just wanted to invoke dirigible, but well-played. :p

At least he has plan B in place if this whole poker thing falls thru.

Shit I might be playing you at the Casino and not even knowing it :) I was there Friday night 7 - midnight :)

We might be! I don't go as often as I used to, but the familia is heading out of town soon, so I'll be in a little more in a couple weeks.

Home game with my brother and his buddy's new CPC FDL chips (my phone camera is not good, and did not use the flash)

ended up even in the cash game, only placed once in the three tournaments. I like the chips, some of the $5 stacks were a bit taller than others, but it is a "hand made product". :)

Yes, the $500 is a little too close to the $100, and $1000 to the $5, so guess who is making a tournament set sometime in the near future (them, of course).

1-1€ dealer's choice home game
In for 200
Stack is about 300 and i'm still trying to get it bigger :)
