Deadpool helmet if I ever have the time to place all the magnets in it. There are a lot. For now it’s just a Deadpool puzzle

I did some grid prints to hold extra spools and spools low on filament. Worked nicely. Making some more mushrooms once my nephews dice tower is complete. His bd is tomorrow and I made a fixed tower and now a collapsible one is printing.

If you're looking for something cool that can help with spool-ends, or not, then this thing is quite wacky. I've seen people be able to work out how to join it together in minutes and others who are still trying 2 hours later :)

I printed the first listed file (I think) at 60% (so 3cm cube) and the pieces fit perfectly. (No supports needed). Did mine in 3 colours.

As the summary notes:-
Three equal parts form a cube. The fit is perfect, assembly can be challenging. I have reverse engineered the "Cubic Trisection", invented by Robert Reid and designed by Oskar van Deventer.

Most of the stuff I print now is bespoke and put together in FreeCad but Thingiverse still has a few things every now and then and the one above I have absolutely no idea where I'd start to try and design that myself.

Lots of new fun stuff made

Jack Skellington in glow in the dark filament instead of white on the top layer. Awesome results

Do you have a link to that Jack Skellington? I'm gonna blow my 5 yr old's mind.

Finally got tired of the manual bed leveling and constant futzing with my ancient Ender 3.

Bambu A1 with AMS arriving tomorrow.
If I could go back I think I’d go a1 with aMs over my p1s. I thought I’d need an enclosure to keep my cats out but ended up having a spare room to house it.

I prefer my A1 mini and ams lite over P1S also.
Wish I had bought the A1 instead of A1 mini. Hoping Bambu gets their act together and releases a bigger unit compatible with multiple ams lites or similar ams. Been looking at the Qidi +4.
Need ams tho.

I had a Q1 pro on pre order then a Kobra 3 I think with their ams and finally got the p1s. Glad I have the ams though.

I've had an Ender 3 V2 for 2-3 years and so far it's behaved perfectly. Bed leveling can be a bit of a pain but doesn't need doing that often and if you take your time to get it right, and keep the build plate clean (iso alcohol), bed adhension is excellent.

I did do a few upgrades as soon as I bought it though, new decent bed springs are an absolute must, the bed isn't going to stay level long with the rubbish default ones, and I also got an all metal extruder and a new-hot end (I think). Replacing the nozzle every now and then helps and gives me the opportunity to give the hot-end a good clean out if it needs it.

Bambu Labs A1 with AMS Lite arrived this week, and I've been putting it through it's paces. The filament I ordered shipped separately, so I packed up some Elegoo PLA Basic from Amazon and have been happy so far.

This thing is a dream compared to my Ender 3. Prints are near perfect every time using default settings.

Mandatory to start with a Benchy.

I then printed a few tools and a couple of signs, and so far I've had only one issue - filament got tangled on the AMS early in a print, I had to stop, untangle, and restart.

My daughter is a huge fan of Blue Lock, so I printed this for her - took about 8.5 hours but the results are amazing.

Having seen a great item made with one and now reading this thread I started considering one. I have been looking and watching some of the videos. What is the best one to start with that is the most, new user friendly. Are the upgrades that you get with the X1c worth it over what you get with the P1s? Any other newer models from other companies better to get?

Looking at taking the plunge and thought I would learn from you guys.

What size nozzle and settings? very nice quality!
I'm using the 0.4mm nozzle that the printer ships with, and 0.2mm layer height for most of the prints. The Blue Lock wall art was printed at 0.08mm layer height.

For filament settings I've been using the Bambu "Generic PLA" default, and I enable bed leveling and flow calibration for each print.

A quick update, I bought a Bambu P1s in June with the AMS and today it has paid for itself. 5 months and lots of prints but totally worth it. Always leaning new stuff, Currently and I mean right now i am printing a 5 colour light box with my Ams which only does 4 colours unless to trick it....lol

My wife who nicknamed the printer the divorce machine has actually suggested maybe I should look into a second Ams unit :wow::ROFL: :ROFLMAO:
