Addressing a few things that have been mentioned in the thread:
  • There are two more sets to come...One will be revealed on Friday morning (NY time), and one on Saturday
  • Originally I was expecting to start public sales this weekend, but given shipping will be very difficult/impossible next week due to the holidays, I am postponing the sales until early January. It also gives everyone more time to digest all the sets/chips in the group
  • Pricing and other sales criteria will be made public well in advance of actual sales.
  • Full sample set for all four sets will go on sale sometime in late January

When I first started appreciating 'custom' chips I tried to imagine what kind of location they'd be played in. There are many sets I admire for their own merit and they all bring a certain flair to their design. Be it the inlay, the colorway, the spot progression - there is always something that would announce their personality and that would help me imagine their setting better. What would the tables look like? What kind of lighting would there be? What would it sound like in there? Some sets do a better job of helping me visualize these things. I really really love those sets.

These sets have so much attitude it'd make a sulky teenager blush. Good grief. The attention you all paid to these is apparent and I wish one day you'd do a podcast/AMA on your design considerations/inspirations/transgressions while executing this. It's definitely masterclass worthy.

Congrats to the crew for bringing this to life. I'm sure it was no easy feat given all that's involved but from one noob clay disk fan, this is super exciting and inspiring to see.
