So it Begins... (10 Viewers)

Nothing beats a blurple chip @JeepologyOffroad! ;)
I think the future may have just caught up with the past. A mighty fine chip indeed!

WOWZERS!!

Yeah I’m just spouting off. No offense intended to you. (Unless you’re a non-playing vault hoarding collectior)
Same.

@TX_Golf_N_Poker i wasn’t aiming at you. I know you throw down.

I’m aiming at non users/players. If you buy and don’t play, you’re a flipper, just waiting for your moment to make a quick buck.

Also see definition of “The Poors”

I said what I said.

@JeepologyOffroad, not sure where this falls in the grand scheme. Do you know/could you share if you and Ken have already talked about/decided on allowing folks to purchase the use of the design for say a felt? This would be my largest purchase to date by 3-4x if I'm lucky enough to nab one, just thinking that the set would be deserving of a lil accoutrement.
Of course it would be fine with me. I also have cut cards and buttons in the works. Likely run a matsui DB group buy next year if anyone is interested.

OMG, it jsut keeps getting better

Congrats on the score - they're awesome and very Jeep!

jeep & kk should sell these chips for the maximum that they can get for them. Because, quite frankly, if they don't someone else will. And since they put all the effort in, they should get the reward.

And yeah, I like bright colours too :)

May I suggest making a "sticky" FAQ-style post somewhere to save a lot of time and noise?

e.g.
Q: What color is [that inlay]? The inlays look different from pic to pic!
A: All the inlays are the same background color. Only the star accents are different, to match each chips.
[or whatever is correct]

Q: What color is [that chip]? They look different from pic to pic!
A: Here is a definitive list of the colors & spot patterns selected.
[list follows]

EDIT: it's here now!

yup… this weekend when I get a chance … and will likely post it in the Marketplace as well.

So they said it will be a vendor sale by @kk405. But I'm most curious about this flipper busting thing you speak of. Do you mean that they're planning to sell at

Ftr this project has been way more work than people will ever realize. @kk405 has done a fantastic job of steering the ship so far. Better than anyone could ever hope for. That said, it’s impossible to keep everyone happy. He’s not Oprah and there is no magic fairytale land where everyone is 100% pleased, but just know that no decisions were made by him without a lot of thought and effort.

For a fleeting moment, that was a hope that maybe GPI was presented with an opportunity to serve the consumer market again, and you guys had the magic connections to make that happen. Oh well... lol.

:cool

I'd guess probably 2.5-3.5x as much as they did when the original Boat NAGBs happened based on inflation and upcharges for the Holy Spots.
I genuinely am curious as to how GPI looks at these mock-ups and then is able to convince themselves a real casino is getting these. I feel like you’d know a PCF mock-up when it hit your desk. I don’t seem to recall any casinos running 4 sets in both Vegas and Cali colors plus a hotstamp set as well. They have to know when they made these what they were for. I just don’t see how they couldn’t.

These sets hit their bottom line, period. Pretty sure that as long as you can provide whatever paperwork they need, they are happy to make a sale.

I'm pretty sure GPI was under no auspices that these were going to a casino...

Why do you think the absurd fees were added? :ROFLMAO:
