So it Begins... (3 Viewers)

I'm pretty torn, but I know I'm not the only one considering that primary cash set for a tourney set...

would you say the NCV chips would be cheaper or more $ than the hot stamps or denominationals? ?

There comes a time in chipping when you can look at another boat chip / anti-group-buy like this, and really not give a flying one.

If the owners sell at near cost in some sort of fair-ish way, kudos to them, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that one.

Nevermind all these rumours,,., this Inlay is by far the best of all boat and GB and Nagb chips

I guess all the owners of these chips hate you because of the price drop of their chippies
Well, not quite. Not everyone shares your taste, or lack thereof. Or your malice.

The art is impressive and attractive. But the lack of any reference to a location, or connection to any gambling center, or a personal connection of some sort, totally destroys their appeal to me. Now if I was a big cat trainer at the Ringling in Sarasota...

I had the same problem with the Empresses, as well as a few other popular sets. They're pretty much generic, which is great for wide-spread appeal and sales -- but not to me and, I suspect, a few others.

Got any Empressessssses left? I can be persistent.

The only downside to the clearances is the travel restrictions. :(

Well, that and the guys periodically knocking on your neighbors' doors and asking questions about you...
I used to live in a neighborhood full of three letter people. I was a rare person who didn’t work in gov or have a clearance. I had investigators at my door about once a month lol.

I used to annoy said neighbors by asking them to get my emails back when I accidentally deleted them. They’d be like “we don’t have your emails”. I’d be like “sure you do, I just need this one I lost that has a tracking number - please help me out this once”

I’d also always ask them “how is the weather in [insert country] looking next week”. It was funny until the one time a person responded very seriously saying the weather is always terrible in Mumbai.

I missed the terrorist attack there by just a month or so. Don’t know if they knew trouble was brewing but I assume they had an inkling.

OMG - That is brilliant. I have a bunch of 3 letter folks in my neighborhood. So going to borrow this. ;) :ROFLMAO:

  serious? It was a „guess“ and not a statement, so it had nothing to do with „my malice“… and in the end a price drop of the older fantasy sets might not be a big surprise - the attention that these 4 new sets receive is simply crazy, 50k views within a few days has to be something…. This forum is something like stock exchange so its quit normal for the prices to raise and drop depending on current demands….

i think that if the owners did sell at cost or close to that,,, an agreement should be made with the buyer that he or she wouldn't be allowed to flip for profit.

thats my 2 cents. fwiw
I'd like to think most people recognize how fantastic it would be to acquire a set of these, and would be holding. Although I am guessing "cost" is still likely out of reach for most.

Yeah based on all that’s been said I estimate these ran @JeepologyOffroad and @kk405 like $4-5/chip average with all the fees and whatnot.
