Look at you guys all living it up while I’m just going through an existential crisis trying to lock down what I’m trying for…
I started the day locked in trying for a hot stamp cash set by way of tourney set, pretty much abandoned that idea when some Binion HOfs popped up, ended up thinking too long about those, and now trying to talk myself out of trying for both cash sets and skipping tourney completely. What a roller coaster, and all for what could potentially be for nothing if I strike out on the lottery. Why do I do this to myself?

You got me thinking all kinds of paranoid thoughts, now. I know exactly what I want, but will folks be “ordering” multiple sets in hopes of getting something (then using to trade), and backing out of sets if they win multiple lottery’s? Is it stupid to only try to buy exactly what I want…will there be penalties for canceling orders?

I’m scared…and this probably comes off as gibberish.

To be clear, I def didn’t mean applying for both with the intent of only keeping one and don’t want to encourage that in anyway. Especially with the intent of the sellers on limiting flipping. Straight trades are one thing, but it’s a slippery slope.

I simply love them both so much for different reasons I’m not sure I can make up my mind and can currently justify to myself enough difference to warrant both if it was possible.

Definitely wasn’t implying that…you just sparked an incoherent thought in my paranoid brain. I guess I’m lucky to know exactly what I want, but on the other hand it sucks because I don’t think I’d be happy with an alternative set.

Edit: perhaps this is all for not and there are assloads of the exact set I’m hoping for.

Sounds like the sets and ordering size was well planned out so we should have pretty good odds. If you’re locked in to what you like I wouldn’t second guess or settle

If one buys multiple sets and there's enough supply to fulfill all of those orders, they'll be on the hook to buy everything. Hardly ideal if that happens unless they're ok with dropping 10K+

I think it's been said, however, that quantities may be limited to one set per person if lotteries are required for either of the sets in question, in the event one person buys multiples.

Right on..,I’m sure I missed it. This thread has been a 9-5 job since 12/14.

Edit (again): my phone battery has been dying at around 1pm and my screen time is up 492%.
