So it Begins... (4 Viewers)

- some will get even richer if
- most of the order can be sold…

otherwise there will be hard times… but in the end there are a lot of Chip addicted people around who will trade their kidneys for just a rack… so my guess, there shouldn’t be any concerns for the investors…. And one thing is a fact: most of the PCF members are on their knees, praising the guys who made it possible….
Right, but that's a lot of money to front before a product can be delivered for one person.

If you run it like a traditional group buy, there's the risk of GPI putting the kibosh on it before the chips get made and delivered, and a lot of pissed off forum members that lost a lot of money that's nonrefundable.

Exactly…. And most of us won’t be able to imagine the crazy effort that these guys put into this project. Awesome….

It's just not as simple as this. Establishing the connection is the hard part. Once you've got that, you're in, but you do have MOQ's to worry about. I'm not even going to try and speculate on how many chips were in this order, but if I were to guess, I would say a metric shit ton. In terms of cost, we're talking at least half a million dollars and upwards. Not exactly pocket change for 99.5% of posters here.

I would say a Million at the very least. Remember Josh (Apache) was willing to put a $500K order this year and Reps from GPI didn't care at all. Another possibility is they have good contacts up at the management and forced their way into a smaller order.

Lol at today's PCF banner ad telling me to adopt a tiger this Christmas. I mean, they'll kind of be getting their wish...

My brother is convinced our phone microphone are on and sending everything to the advertisers. True story - last month my brother was here and we were talking about bar shuffleboard. Said I probably should get one. He flies home the following day. Sent me this the next day as it popped up on his Facebook feed.

Yeah, they're almost certainly listening to you — and that's coming from someone who works in advertising.

They didn’t do it to break even and I assure you they are not scared. Concerned slightly on how much to pay in taxes, maybe. That’s how life works. Cream. Also I only get on my knees for one person, Jesus. For me the blessing is the guy(s) who made the best sets (pcf, jeep, etx), got to work with GPI. It’s about time. Simple. I’ve never been a fan of candy chips, coke giraffes, or China boats, but these are a click above anything I’ve seen. I like most chips, but a FAN of any chips is really stretching it. I play poker with mine. It’s like a tool of my trade. Every single set I play, and play again. Truly I smile today knowing the best mixed chip set maker imo ever, had the opportunity to use some of the last patterns avail and do his own colors. I think ya’”ll should hit up the marketing department at cedars etx. When I worked there it was the entire 11th floor in the main hotel elevator. Use the stairs. Wait for the door open. Drop off pamphlet. Nightclubs we’re much different hours but the main graphic guys are usually there at 6am and done by noon and these would make a great statement on ANY platform ie: Tv, Print, Internet, or dare I say WSOP billboard? Maybe they are too bright for that format (they prefer browns and red colors) however there is always next year oh and Oh ya…. keep up the good work, you deff did your homework and no matter what your great grandkids will have a great poker set because of it so make sure u include a letter of origin. This story is movie worthy, so much so I pitched something similar to Netflix a few years back. Almost pulled it off too. Merry Christmas.

Probably cheaper to buy an actual Tiger than a couple sets of these...hmm
Oh 100%. Tigers a few years back were going for only $1500. I looked into it. Thought it would be “cool”. I used to be kind of stupid.

Anyways it’s cheap for the tiger but then you want an enclosure and land and a lot of meat and vet, etc…all in it adds up.

Edit: you really looked into buying a tiger over more chips?
