Hey All,
I'm very new here, and I was wondering if there are any threads here that cover chip terminology, mostly around grades of chips etc. I keep reading "primary", "secondary", "casino used" etc. and I want to be sure I know what I'm talking about. I come from a rock climbing background which basically has its own language and I'm seeing these tendencies here. Any direction is much appreciated.

Some states gaming boards require casinos to have secondary chips available, with a different spots, in case the main chips get compromised. They're usually just the higher denoms. The secondaries are usually mint, and draw top dollar.

"Casin used" is just what it sounds like, though the chips can have a wide variety of wear, from still square and textured to smooth bicycle tires.

^^ FYP.

Row 2 second chip is reversed hat & cane mold (RHC) with grand inlay (not stickers).

Paulson documents refer to the 'suits' mold as the Card & Pips mold. The term 'suits' mold or 'four suits' mold typically refers to chips produced by BCC for Holdem Poker Chips (Mardi Gras v1, etc.).

50mm no-mold Paulson chips are referred to as Crest & Seal mold by company documents. I have no idea why.

Thanks for taking the time to do that. Very helpful

THC House Mold? I've never heard that term. I don't think you can apply THC and House together.
Its a casino house mold technically
I was mostly looking to display THC vs RHC and different styles of molds, I'm not a technical term kinda person, that might rub some people here the wrong way
