Need to talk Forrest into renting a trailer to haul those to Denver. Otherwise, as Dave said, plop down the cash, take everything, leave the tables on the street for free if there are any takers. 2K cash in hand would be enough I think.

I'm out on a partial buy. I wanted the whole lot and Made him an offer to ship the chips. No deal.

At that price point I'm going to bow out also, unless you're able to grant my request in the original post of getting a few racks of each color at cost as a finders fee:whistle: :whistling:
 
Thanks for confirming all. Will let you know how it goes! Hopefully I get them cheaper, but the seller clearly has national interest in just the chips....

@uclaure : I'm not sure how you are calculating things, but I'm basically doing this at cost for everyone: $2,500 / 4,000 chips = $0.625 per chip = $63 per rack cost. I'm adding in a couple hundred bucks for my time, which I think is reasonable. Let me know if you change your mind before I start allocating these to other PCFers. I'm not keeping any of them for myself.

You could also hand him a book of matches and tell him that should help "consolidate" the tables to a moveable size.

I think the craps tables are cool looking. Blackjack tables would be fine if you just added a padded rail to them. At least they aren't the cheap eBay felt they are old casino ones/error prints (maybe).
 
I didn't do the math. I was hoping they'd end up being less that's all. Thanks for your effort in bringing these home. I'm still going to pass though.
 
If you end up with an odd barrel or two of the peach or green I'll take them, I don't need a full rack.

Don't get me wrong, I think the tables are good.. just seems he wants them out of his house, so he won't let the chips go without the tables.

Though he may get suspicious about your intentions if you drive up in a 2-door sports car..

At that price / rack, and since it seems that a lot of others want in on the fun too, I think I'd go for the lower end of my original pick - 2 peach and 1 red. Hopefully it frees up some racks for someone else as these are great colors and can be used in many different setups.
 
If the group gets the chips, great. I hope at the best price possible. Might I make a suggestion for the membership? If you are searching CL and find something like this, try to send a PM to a member (like inca911 in this case) that can check out the deal and maybe pick it up at the best price. Once the membership knows, people likely contact the seller, prices go up, maybe the sale does not then take place.... Food for thought.
