Not Mine Starbursts...lots of them! (1 Viewer)

Sorry I didnt get to scroll thru the whole thread yesterday. So congrats on getting the chips. How are the conditions? Are some of the chips overstamps?
 
I sorted all the chips last night, and here's where we are at with counts/conditions/thoughts. For condition, these are all very good chips, which have seen lots of gentle play with very dirty hands. Much, much better condition than played Horseshoes.
  • There are 260 Melon/Sunrise/Peach with single hotstamp that vary in color, which might be due to cleanliness or actual color. I'm certainly not able to distinguish between those three Paulson colors. Together, they are "peachy". These are $75/rack, and I think would be best to sell together ($195). There are 1,723 other Melon/Sunrise/Peach with overstamps, which are $70/rack.

  • The Paulson Reds vary in color, which might be due to cleanliness. There aren't multiple Paulson colors that are super close to Paulson Red. I have no plans to ultrasonic anything. There are two racks of single hotstamp reds I sorted out that are regular weight. These two racks of single hotstamps will be $75/rack, and likely best to keep together. There are also 586 other reds with various overstamps, which are a mix of leaded and unleaded Paulsons (based on my handling them). These will be $70/rack.

  • There are 300 Lime Green with single hotstamp, which have the same color variation likely due to dirtiness. They are for sure all the same Paulson base color, and I expect they will become more uniform with cleaning, but no guarantees. These will be $75/rack. Finally there are 85 Lime Green with overstamps, which will be $50 for that entire partial rack.

There has been a good amount of interest in this thread and via PM, so those who buy the most stuff will get priority on requests. Seems simplest/fairest, and saves me work. Please post what you want by end of the weekend with a total count, and I'll sort it all out on Monday. I'm not keeping anything, so I will find a combination of interest that results in everything getting shipped out. Enjoy the chips!

I would take the 260 peachy single stamps, 200 red single stamps and 300 lime green single stamps if available. But I would defer to others if they need these chips. Thanks for picking these up and sorting them out.

Thanks for going through all this trouble.

I'll still take 200 reds (oversteps are fine) and will add 200 overstamp peach to the order.

I'm still interested in a rack of single stamp red and a rack of single stamp peach but completely understand if I get bumped by a larger order. No probs at all.

Just curious to hear if you got stuck with the tables? If not, what was the guys reaction when you drove off with just the chips...o_O
 
I am still in for 2 racks of each - 200 Peachy (or 260 if you want them all in one sale) 200 Green 200 Red

That said, I don't want to hoard them all so I am fine with any or none that you want to allocate me. If I only lived closer that craps table would be next to my two poker tables.

Hopefully folks need more peachy chips and someone can add the partial rack of reds. I don't want any of these extras for myself!

@duffman : Do you still want 200 peachy if there are no limes?
@Joe E. : Would n=85 limes work for you to go with the two racks of peachy and red? Or perhaps add in the rest of the EXTRA reds? Godzilla made an offer to help out if someone has a significant need.

For the tables, they are sitting in my garage right now. The seller was not interested in my leaving them, so I filled up the truck and hauled them home. My kids have started to write the gambling hotline help number everywhere I can see it. :eek:
 
absolutely! I will take the extra reds and another rack of peachy to help get it all done


Trying to see if I can find someone close to pick up the craps table. If you don't have other plans for it, maybe I can price out something on Uship or something similar. Obviously something for your time, effort, and storage if it's even a possibility to get it here.

I know I'd be getting a good deal on a rack of peach starbursts, but it's only a good deal if they're actually peach.
Maybe I can send you a peach chip, and you can take a picture of it with these chips, so I can see just how peachy they are?

No problem with any questions! They are not all Paulson peach. I have a Paulson color chip set, and suspect they are a mix of three colors + surface handling dirt: Melon, Sunrise, Peach + dirt. In their current cleanliness condition, they are all "peachy" in color and were played together as one denomination. I'm not interested in spending time to clean them and sort into color sets any more than I already did to figure out the hotstamps; however, you could buy the remainder of them and do it yourself if you want to! (y) :thumbsup:

Thanks to @Joe E. for taking some extras. I'm holding one craps table for @Mr. Cheese while he remodels, and have another local who is interested in the other (as well as @slisk250 trying to convince me to drive one to Denver for his place)!

FYI: I am sending two racks of peachy to @uclaure for finding this sale and making this possible for the group. Uclare: do you want to add n=323 peachy chips for $220 to close out this deal for me? Pretty please?

Once the last peachy chips are accounted for, I'll add shipping costs (e.g., $14 for MFRB, $19 for LFRB) and add a total for PayPal F+F payment. Surely someone has a friend or a desire for just 3 little racks of peachy Paulson chips?
