Mine Stolen? Keep Eye out for Aruba Palm Beach Chip set. (2 Viewers)

Not sure I understand what you mean. You shipped the package. Most people don't write carrier release on the package. Big mailers like Amazon have a release, because they will replace lost items. If you didn't write ok to leave on the package, then it should have been noticed if no one was home. If they deny your claim I would jam that response down their throat.

I understand now, thanks :) I misunderstood what you meant before.

I certainly didn't write "ok to release", or anything at all, on the package or label itself.

Its guaranteed delivered, by "Justin" truck driver #73. I spoke to him, seems not to remember, but there were "a lot of packages going out those days". I can not do anything at this point. So if there's any chance of me getting anything in return, i guess i have to just sit back and cross my fingers.

Thanks for the help guys. Keep your eyes peeled.

Yea so it’s a dedicated large package USPS delivery guy, not your standard mailman who only carries small packages to your door. That makes it harder. A mailman would remember packages better since he mostly delivers letters. A package-only guy, on the other hand, would only remember that there were a lot of packages those days…

The initial claim was rejected because they said it was delivered. I appealed their decision, which is now under review. I'm not overly optimistic at this point, but we'll see and hope for the best.

Good luck Dan

Given all the stuff posted, it seemed likely that was going to be the outcome. Wish you the best for the appeal!

Agreed, I wasn't surprised they rejected the initial claim. We'll see what they say to the appeal, in which I suggested that leaving a $400 insured package on his doorstep that wasn't in a secure location was their fault (in not so many words). Again, I'm not overly optimistic, but I have to at least try as hard as I can on @NayNay behalf to try and get them to accept the claim. We shall see.

Thank you Bentax. Just a total bummer situation. Maybe the next step is to call all the pawn shops, consignments, and antique stores in a 30 mile radius to see if they were dropped off.

If it were me, I'd have already done that. Better to alert them ahead-of-time (along with the police and the Postal Inspector). Get on it, brother!
