Thanks! I’d love to come out for a game sometime. Schedules with the family are pretty busy so prob can’t commit to many games but definitely interested.

This coming weekend will be our Final Year-End Freeroll tournament. As of now, we have 33 confirmed runners, with a potential 34th.

Notable chip stacks for this years event

Chip Leader -> Local Steve T : 31,000

2nd @MikesDad : 25,225
5th @Chippy McChiperson : 21,925
7th @krafticus : 21,350
14th @Cliff : 16,350
16th @Amatmaju : 15,000
25th @Ben8257 : 10,250
26th @Highli99 : 9,975
27th @vtspecv : 9,800
34th @kirchhausen : 6,100

Food catered by Blackrock BBQ out of Hagerstown, MD. Total prize pool for the season is $4100 ($10 pulled from each buy-in and rebuy), paying 6 places with top two places getting a 4-figure pay day.

Congrats to @MikesDad on the season-long High Hand payout with an 8-high straight flush. (which was dumb luck, when someone shoved into his BB for an additional 1 BB and had to call, and went runner-runner perfect :cool ).

More pics to come this weekend...

I'm so excited for this event! Although my tournament results have been very terrible this year, I have a good feeling about Saturday. My tournament run good might be about to kick off. See everyone there!

Also, if my plan of victory fails ill see some of you at the cash table.

I swear I'm going to make the trek up from DC to EC but it almost certainly won't be till the new year. Maybe I should just Venmo you my money since it would end up in somebody up there's hands.

Every new player usually cashes on the 1st event played at my house. That's how we hook you in. Where you go from there .....

well

like a boss win GIF

in for a big number. Got stacked.

Won all the flips.

Still down a big number, but left feeling like a champ. A champion of the flips.

Appreciate the action guys! I promise to return the favor when I’m up. Although, you know how I run in these.

Wait you won all the flips? I never would have guessed.

Well in true Goldfish fashion, I was the first one to rebuy and the second person out. Holdem tourneys are not my thing. Where is the cash game?!?

Ended up in second tonight out of 30 (plus 8 rebuys). Ran cold at the end, and lost a flip. 99 < A7. Was the chip leader for a while though.

That Ben dude didn’t do half bad either! Finishing 3rd whilst fighting short stack issues most of the final table

Shout out to new player “Sugar” who’s first time players luck was way strong!!

It was absolutely adorable sitting next to her and when I said congratulations everyone we are in the money… she almost jumped out of her chair to tell her Friend (our regular) Marge that she had made it to the money…

Playing Heads up our host made a hell of a charge trying to chip away at the monster stack she had… on the hand he mentioned she caught an ace in the window and one on the river… it was just her night! She cried in excitement and I did too… it was awesome watching the end of that one!!

Happy I grabbed this pic as it also marked the First appearance of “Ben Jr” my father as I am a 3rd. Long white hair and fruity gambling shirt next to @kirchhausen back there at the cash table!!

From my first table of the evening… I had to snap a pic as it was the rare chance I got to play with my good buddy @Goldfish !!
